24 hours in venice may not seem like much, but in this Italy travel vlog we saw so much of venice! We went to the tourist spots like piazza san marco, took a gondola ride, and just wandered the streets of Venice, Italy. Our venice vacation was the perfect end to our Europe trip for 2019 after seeing London and the south of England.

Just got back yesterday from touring Rome, Positano, Capri and Anacapri on the Amalfi coast then to Florence and finally Venice. I miss Venice so much that I wanted to see a vid. TFS. The gondola ride was magical !! But I found Italians rude and I speak English, French,Spanish and ITALIAN. So sad. that that was the only thing I didn’t like about Italy but will go back for the shopping !

So upset, I was in Venice at the same time and the cafe you were sat at the end was on my route to work!! I wish I could have seen you!! Also you missed out not going to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, it is one of the best art galleries, and small so you can fit other things in on the day!! The bookshop I think you mean, with a gondola in and cats, is such an amazing bookstore but kind of in the middle of nowhere

It’s the same in Italian or Spanish (I’m Latin) You can say siesta or riposo in Italian. In fact, Italian is extremely easy to learn for people who speak Spanish because they are very similar. So Yes, siesta is correct. We also used to have siestas in South America but due global economy now its part of the past. Commerce now opens during lunch time and people don’t take siestas anymore.
