The god of Elbaf isn't indecicive when it comes to Dorry and Brogy as he protectes both of them. It's kinda hard protecting one and killing the other when they both are neither right nor wrong but are too stubborn to admit that the sea kings were the same size.

I like that Oda has not let us forget about Elbaf by having constant references to it every other arc. Every giant Luffy has encountered is more or less indebted to him which hopefully means the straw hats wont have to topple another corrupt monarchy to win over the country. It makes me feel like we can jump into the eventual arc with a good sense of how things are done in the country without treading water too much. Considering the giant straw hat in Mariejois I feel like Elbaf will have a huge role in the void century yet to be explored. Not to mention they probably have the Adam tree which would contrast nicely with the Eve tree in FMI with Joyboy being the symbolic "Adam" and Poseidon being "Eve".

If Enel/Eneru is going to show up again, I've thought for a while that it would be on Elbaf. He seems to have a large army built up and the Ark Maxim, making him very ready for a large battle, plus who knows what he has been up to since the time skip.

The Ark Maxim could be construed as the Skidbladdnir, the legendary battle ship that can sail through air as in water; carry all of the Aesir and their battle gear; and when not in use, it can fold into the size of a pocket handkerchief for easy storage. I’m really hoping Oda does cover Elbaf because I would like to see Usopp as a character evolve. Yes he certainly has grown since his initial introduction into the series but he’s still always portrayed as a scaredy cat constantly coming down with some form of “I’ll die if I step foot on the island disease”. It may not be as bad as when he first boarded the Merry but him, Nami and Chopper are always acting scared. Usopp has always dreamed of becoming a great warrior of the sea and the giants at Little Garden were to him the perfect portrayal of that. I love Usopp’s badass moment when he’s serious like his fight with Luffy or the introduction of Kabuto and burning the World Gov flag at Enies Lobby. To see him break out of the scaredy cat shell permanently would be cool.

Theory Time! What if we already know exactly where Elbaf is? Elbaf home of the giants would necessarily be one of the largest islands in the new world, but what if it’s actually the largest island in the one piece world! Look at reverse mountain Where the North blue and the West blue flow up the mountain, making an island of a piece of the redline. In fact, what if the tree of Elbaf is the reason for reverse mountain? The growing broke the redline and forced it up into a mountain. It’s roots sucking in so much water actually cause the water to flow uphill! What if the tree is the fabled Adam wood on one side of the Grand Line with the Eve tree(s?) being on the other. Or even crazier they are in fact one tree?! Yggdrasil the world tree the top of which comes out of Elbaf and the roots one the other side of the planet which when reaching sunlight again grew into a sort of mangrove and funneling the extra sunlight back to the center of the tree. What if Yggdrasil being one giant tree is actually the One Piece and all the other special trees that pop up around the one piece world at just branches of this tree including the tree devil fruits come from. What if the World government knows this and is actually drilling a hole at Eneis Lobby in an attempt to get to the heart of the tree to kill it!?
