The biggest issue with an island of giants is that Oda would have to draw tiny Sh characters against building sized people all the time. We have never had regular sized people interact with giants for a prolonged amount of chapters. I suppose the Big Mom flashback could count but they didn't have the giants there all the time. You'd think the SH would have to be yelling all the time for the giants to hear them but that's not the case. It might be that we also get non stop double page spreads to showcase the sheer size of Elbaf. The gigantic tree has to be Adam Wood. Elbaf makes sense to be a country full of war and the tree was said to shelter an entire nation underneath it.

As a norseman, I can not express how happy I am to finally be going to Elbaf. To me, it's like the Wano hype, but has been around much longer. I hope it's not a short arc, I want it to last as long as possible. I imagine Elbaf (or whatever the island is gonna end up being named) being similar to Wano, split into nine different regions, each inspired by the nine realms of Norse Mythology, with a giant tree in the center of the island, much like how the world is depictured in actual Norse Myth, not the Marvel version where it's seperate dimensions in a cosmic tree, but physical regions surrounding a huge tree. I can even see there being different "tribes" of giants inhabiting each region also being inspired by the various inhabitants of the Nine Realms, Elves, Humans, Jotnar, Dwarves etc. Now, I don't imagine them looking like Elves or Dwarves, but at least having some touches. Oh and, BTW Tekking, Odin is not Loki's father in the actual mythology, that would be Farbauti, so I imagine he would be the King of Elbaf.

Personally, I believe Elbaf is going to be the biggest arc in One Piece. Throughout Luffy's journey, whenever the crew is about to reach a major island, they often make a stop at a smaller one first. For example, Jaya came before Skypiea, Sabaody before Fish-Man Island, Punk Hazard before Dressrosa, and Zou before Wano. Following this pattern, I think Egghead is just a setup arc, leading us into the much larger Elbaf storyline.

There is some part of me feeling a filler arc, or another Oda like carpet pull and Luffy doesn't actually set foot on Elbaf for a while for some yet unseen reason. A theory came to me while I was cooking and listening the video, what if there´s something like the 9 realms in Elbaf, not like a realm itself but like diferent geographic place , and the strawhats have to divide.IDK Brook will go to the helhaim like place , Luffy to the Asgard like, and the rest to other ones. Here are all my prediction/Theories about Elbaf: I think Franky built _Sunny_ to be retrofitted for Pluton or to fight Pluton. I'm not saying Franky did it with that intention or that Luffy would ever ask him to. But Franky had those blueprints for long enough and Franky is smart enough to have memorized them. He likely built _Sunny_ so that he subconsciously made her super easy to turn into _Pluton_ or fight _Pluton_ if it was essential. If _Sunny_ is damaged retreating from Egghead, I can see him using Elbaf’s Treasure Tree to fix her and that’s when he turns _Sunny_ either into Pluton or the perfect _Pluton_ counter. Because remember, _Sunny_ is already made of a Treasure Tree. When they arrive on Elbaf, the Straw Hats will learn of Kidd's defeat and learn that they are only like a half day behind Shanks. I can see Elbaf divided into 9 counties of districts like Wano was. Each district is named after a different world and each county is connected by a bridge system or super highway called Yggdrasil. I think Usopp will end up leading a brigade or division of Elbaf warriors during the final war, and those soldiers will total 8,000 men. I think Elbaf will be all about Usopp until they learn that info. Uranus is the god of the sky and Elbaf is inspired by Vikings and Norse mythology. I can 100% see a plot point where there is an item or a person named Thor who is then revealed to be Uranus because Thor is the Norse God of the sky and comparative mythology is a thing. With the symbolism of an Adam and an Eve tree(s), I could see the final war _starting_ with the Adam tree falling after an attack by the WG on Elbaf and _ending_ with the Eve tree falling after either the destruction of the Grand Line and/or the exodus of the Fishman to the surface world. I think Elbaf has more information about the Void Century than the humans do. The giant lifespans are triple that of humans. So where it might be 12 generations back for humans, it might only be 3 to 4 for the Giants. Dorry and Brogy’s grandparents or great-grandparents could’ve fought alongside Joy Boy against the World Government. Also, the World Government has no influence over Elbaf so they never got a chance to censor their histories. I think we will also learn that at some point, Alabasta and Elbaf were allies, likely during the Void Century and probably before that.

He rules over the Aesir, there's also the Vanar gods, and there's Muspelheim, Vanaheim, Nifleheim, Hel, Alvheim (Svart and Ljoss - meaning dark and light), Midgard (that's where we are), Jotunnheim, and Asgard - all being situated on the world tree Yggdrasil

The Aesir live in Asgard, and the Vanar gods live in Vanaheim. Those are typically the "good guys" in norse myth, but you have Nifleheim and Muspelheim which represent realms of cold and fire respectively - typically neutral and chaotic forces. Then there's the Alvheim which is sort of like a realm for fey (more gnomish and elven styled fey for Ljossalvheim, and more overgrown swamp and dark forest styled svartalheim with notably: dwarves). Jotunns live in Jotunnheim and it's sort of this mystery of unknown land and territory with giant mountains and unpassable lands (it mostly represents the mountainous region of northern Norway, and through northern Norway, Sweden, and Finno-russia, but also includes some Icelandic and Faroe elements, such as a sea filled with tiny islands, all too dangerous to live in, as well as sparse regions where nothing grows - yet the Jotunns survive and remain unaffected). Although Jotunns are also related to the Aesir and Vanar, the only groups of people unrelated are the Alvs/fey, dwarves, humans, and the odd mythological creature

As for the tournament: Jinbe would accept because Luffy asked him to (he is the captain after all) Zoro would most likely say yes to prove his strengh even without swords. Ussop would say yes. Franky would find it SUPER manly and join. Sanji would get mad at Zoros comments when he declines so he joins aswell. I can’t wait for Elbaf. It’s gonna be a HUGE arc in more ways than one. As far as ideas for Elbaf, I think it’s obvious that the giant tree will be the entrance to the sky islands that Gan Fall mentioned back in Skypiea. I could see the various animals on the World Tree be turned into Giants with matching Zoan Devil Fruits. Vedrfolnir could easily be a giant that ate the Tori Tori no mi: Model: Hawk and he could be the captain of Asgard’s royal defense like Pell in Alabasta. I would love Thor to be the villain because what if Enel arrives with his army, Thor squashes it, and gains the power of the Goro Goro no Mi? That would be terrifying. Hell, let’s get Kaido and Big Mom out of Wano to finish business at Elbaf, resulting in the beginning of Ragnarok! ELBAF!!!!

Elbaf to me would be the most interesting arc because since start of new world we were on aim to become a yonkou. Now elbaf should introduce a completely new power scaling and possibly a new Villian? We dont know anything about this island but we know it is gonna be long so lots to look forward to.
