I genuinely appreciate commentary channels who uses GTA IV Footage. It's honestly a breath of fresh air, and I think that's what internet needs every now and then. This is also a good example of how to give great games with less popularity the attention it deserves, to give off a different vibe or feeling for a change which would attract at least some people who constantly get fed by the same content they watch on a daily basis, it's almost brain-rotting at this point. I am honestly in love, and have garnered a lot of respect and appreciation for GTA IV. I am aware and glad that the game is receiving more positive attention and feedback nowadays, and with the upcoming release of Rockstar's most anticipated GTA VI, it's only gonna get more love due to how closer it is to influencing and making a bigger impact towards GTA VI with its already existing features which later got removed or downgraded by GTA V, to which thankfully would be brought back once more and might even be upgraded by the upcoming game. It's the same way how SA greatly influenced GTA V in a similar manner, thus that 3d childhood game many people had got more appreciation from there.

Back when the leaks were on tiktok I saw a clip of Jason crawling in prone position with a gun on his back and when we crawled into boxes on the floor he automatically used his hand to shove them out the way- kind of like doors in GTA5. So going prone is 100% a gameplay thing unless it’s removed in the final build. (Which wouldn’t make sense cause it was extremely well animated)

GTA 6 needs to have endgame content similar to GTA Online Businesses. Having Lucia open up her own coke lockup, salvage yard, hangar/warehouse for stolen items to sell. When you finish the story you shouldn’t get 50mil or anything like that but maybe 5 mil and then you can build your money up yourself. Allow the story characters to have more. When you finish GTA V you have honestly not much to do other than complete the 100%, if you had business to run that being the source of income it would make it more enjoyable. It doesn’t have to be the level of GTA Online grinding and can have an increased payout or maybe more recourses. GTA Online for 6 also should have proper cash payouts for jobs and also correctly priced items, that’s a whole other pdf of things rockstar need to make gta 6 great but they don’t listen to fans or people that play the games so.

It would be cool if they interlinked the online world with the story mode world like in Watch Dogs 2 for added immersion. Say goodbye to the usual Rockstar lobbies of waiting hours just to start a mission. For story mode, make your online character Lucia and Jason’s bodyguard that follows them around as their crew in story mode. It would be nice to have more stakes so that you can lose everything if your character dies. I honestly think GTA would benefit to copying a souls-like Castlevania style game. It would be nice to be rewarded for skill and strategy within a video game about cops and robbers. The cat and mouse open world situations should be so interesting that you feel like you’re in a Breaking Bad episode playing the game. While in online mode, the online character manages their business and can choose to double cross Jason and Lucia to start his/her own business. I want the whole 9 yards when it comes to black market businesses. The lore from Scarface and Narcos will make that content easy to write up. It would be nice to play both cop and criminal like in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. It would be cool to manage a coke business like Ezio in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. Assign different gang members to different jobs and send them on their way to transport coke to places like Los Santos, San Fierro, and Liberty City. If you want to do those jobs personally with that crew, you should have the option to hop on a plane and do so in a smaller version of those cities. It would be wild to revisit GTA 5’s Los Santos map within GTA 6. GTA 6 needs snowy areas like how RDR2 had varied map locations. Liberty City would be a must as well knowing how coke moved through Miami and NYC from the Atlantic in the Escobar days. With that, you should have to allocate and recruit for your gang as some people will be needed to defend your business property. Gang recruitment should be like Breaking Bad. Gang wars should definitely be a thing with evolving territories and leaders. It would be cool to have a territory and leader system like Assassin Creed’s Odyssey war system. Guard dogs like chop should also be a thing. We’ll probably be able to use surveillance tapes as well to defend our properties. It would be cool to have zip lines and grappling guns too. Game should play like a rags to riches story. Basketball would be cool to have with Jason starting out in college for the story. Grounded narco gang wars sounds nice for Vice City. The most annoying part of GTA 5 online was spending 30 minutes driving on the same interstate road for 90% of the game’s missions because of the map’s vertical design. My hope is that missions don’t involve driving to locations as part of the mission structure like how they do it in GTA 5 online. Most people bought the ufo bike as a means of bypassing the 30 minute wait it took just to drive and do a bunker mission. Map needs enough variety for driving to feel fun and engaging rather than boring and predictable like in GTA 5. Rockstar needs to innovate its mission design in online and story. I love driving too, but too much of it feels like a chore. My hope is that they have it all down to a science so that they perfectly hit those dopamine receptors in making GTA a reality that people want to play in.

Great video! Just one thing i noticed, Jason's car is based on a 1970-1971 (5th generation) Ford Ranchero GT, not a 1980 Ranchero as stated. The Ranchero was discontinued in 1979. There was an obscure Ranchero sold in Argentina until the 90's, but it was based on the Falcon. Just wanted to point that out, makes me hopeful that there is a car based on the same era Ford Torino in GTA 6, which is a favorite of mine. Hopeful that the vehicle list is mind blowing!

Yeah in alot of Rockstar games, there's alot of cut content either due not enough time or changes during development. For example: Guarma used to have a bigger role in RDR2 but they cut it a great ton.

I hope GTA 6 has at least one breach loading rifle. GTA 5 had the flintlock then jumped straight to the repeating bolt action. They need the technology that came in between, which was the breach loader.

I just got a random thought, than in the deep future, GTA games will be sort of historical gems that represent the time in which the game was made, and the public perception of certain times. For example, GTA SA is obviously a parody in many situations, but i think it represents the timeframe pretty well. Same with GTA IV and V. Those games in the future (and actually even now) are products of their times, with which we can deeper our understanding of social situation in the specific time. I just love the rockstar worldbuilding

I really hope rearview mirrors in cars work in GTA 6. That's the main thing that stops me using first person when driving and I'd really like to use it more, first person driving in their games is great I just don't like it without mirrors.

7:05 thats a bit disappointing. i mean only 157 interiors in pre-alpha is pretty much what we will see on the finished version plus couple more interiors maybe, while gta v stands on 112 interiors and the game felt so little to explore... also 5's map is x2-3 smaller than 6's so it will feel even emptier than before...
