Interesing how both groups show heavily heaven and hell motiffs. The Anhinilition Gang seems to represent the demons and hell. While Penacony, along with the Family represents angels, paradise and dreams. Another interesing thing that I found about this trailer are this: 4:14 - The Ophanim, also known as "Throne" the angel with eye and multiple rings. They act as bodyguards and safekeepers of God. 5:30 - The Golden Apple, which was created by Eris, the goddess of Discord. But also known as the fruit of sin that banished the first humans from Paradise. 6:21 - This a Dhalia, a flower that represents love and elegance. The purple meant to represent royalty. 7:07 - Acheron is a river that showcase the entrance to the Underworld.

@@HazZzel- i also had thoughts about this! their designs are so similar that it's a bit strange, because if it wasn't intentional it'd be a lazy character design. the duke specifically mentions that he set akash's 'eye's on fire' and so that could explain why he wears glasses (something is different about his eyes), and could be a stretch but aventurine has interesting eyes too, and wears glasses. I sure hope they're related somehow because that would be such a cool plot line.

A little fun detail I noticed about Dubra, The Scribe. When we first see her, we see that she has a White Bandage over her left eye. But when she falls over to reveal … the literal Grim Reaper??? That bandage falls off, showing us that the … girl/doll/??? thing has complete heterochromia. A red and purple eye! Fun Fact: Dubra’s name might’ve originated from the Proto-Celtic word “dubros” which means “Dark” or “Water”!

Hmmm... omigod I have so many theories that could be easily disproven by leakers. One of them being that Duke Inferno actually succeeds for the most part and destroys the harmony in Penacony, and that is how we earn the gaze of Xipe. I wanna believe Acheron is there to take out Sam, while he is tasked to protect specific people from The Family and also kill specific people. Us fighting Sam must be the same reason why we fought Kafka: to keep up appearances. If Blade remembers us, then it is likely Sam also knows about us. Himeko joining, probably Welt coming too, might be not to celebrate, but instead they want to see for themselves the aftermath of the Stellaron and how it affected the population of Penacony. While under the guise that we are coming as The Nameless/Astral Express representatives. Just like Nanook, maybe to us the Annihilation gang is really a mere distraction and barely worth of our attention. Maybe the real problem is inside the planet and how everyone is starting to lose their realities (both conscious and dreams). Maybe the real villain is someone inside of the Hotel Reverie who is trying to expose this facade of Penacony and remind people that the true villains are the IPC. Honestly, I want to believe that everyone who is coming to the festivity has a hidden agenda which is most likely the truth. Anyway, all I can say is that I really hope we get another interlude space station/fleet/etc. Before heading to the next world and that it happens before 3.0.

I just really hope this story lives up to Belebog instead of being like the Xianzhou. Belebog started strong and only got better as it went on but the Xianzhou had a great start then fumbled heavily and somehow managed to limp on to a strong ending. It's mid was rough. I really hope Penacony is strong all the way through!

How The Annihilation Gang presents itself 4:29 reminds me a bit of "Resident Evil Village," although the name only would fit "resident evil" for The Annihilation Gang very well - they have a diabolical plan. But let's stay on the same timestep. Ifrit reminds me a little of the abyss singer: abyss flames from the design and the dark pyro element. Iris's left eye (from his ego perspective) blazes more 🔥 strongly. This symbolism, this (strong) shining eye, what does that remind me of again? - Why do I have to think of a Genshin Battle Pass intermediate cutscene where a serpent of seduction, deception and sin came, where his left eye shone red?

Penacony is very interesting as it's one of those "fake cities" that appear good on the outside but have a lot of hidden negatives. Now, "Reverie" means a state of being pleasantly lost in one's thoughts; a daydream. Which makes sense because they hold those who want to dream. The Family is also very suspicious as they are very welcoming and they have an angel type of aesthetic that makes them look safe. Sunday is the guy who welcomes people and knows how to appear kind, I'm already guessing he has a hidden side to him. His sister Robin is also a major influence since she's a superstar. I really think this is gonna be Peaknacony.

The bubbles that Stelle had picked up contain memories and she experiences them like being in another person's dreams. The once IPC prisoners were sentenced to gather them for the Remembrance via Garden of Recollection. The Stellaron turned the wasteland into a Vegas like utopia after gathering the consciousness and dreams of the prisoners that inhabit it who desired a life of luxury and freedom and thus they became the Family and wasteland became what they desired. Penacony, a Utopia of Dreams, enter the hotel and may one's dreams come true. Either way, this grand celebration inviting representatives of many factions will certainly lead to discord in paradise. All the factions invited no doubt has their own agendas especially Aventurine, Sam, and Himeko whom certainly did not show up for pleasantries but will still get it on the side. The Ever-Flame Mansion of course desire to destroy paradise and will regardless go up against all the faction representatives both separately and together. Elation for one will want to protect the jollies of paradise while Aventurine will protect it for the sake of business. Acheron will be a wild card and Sam is here to play his role designed by Elio. Black Swan being a representative of the Garden that houses memories and dreams will prevent anyone from tampering them from becoming nightmares. The Nameless will be along for the ride as all things considered. What I am more worried about is the fickleness of dreams as every person is different and what a person dreams about says a lot about them. This puts into question what will come of Stelle's dreams assuming she has any and as far as we know her memories were erased but what will manifest in her dreamscape may unveil who she is. The last time something like a dreamscape was manifested was when Hotaru found herself in an Aranara dreamscape which was supposed to be a harmonious place that wound up stained by an Abyss Herald which was the manifestation of the mental toll the journey across Teyvat has had on her up to that point showing she is not unbreakable.

It's more of an amalgamation of Vegas / Hollywood caricatures. The only thing that is "Australian" is just that it used to be a penal colony that is forced to deal with its former master (Britain / IPC) again, even after their supposed "freedom". Heck, at this point we can kind of confidently say that IPC is East India Company. Even down to the savior complex thing that they have. We even prevent them from basically creating Hongkong in the quests (Aurum Alley dock quest chain).

‘Ifrit’ is actually like a jinn or a demon in Islam. He was under Solomon (AS) and according to the story in the Quran, he was so strong that he bought a majestic throne (from a powerful queen) in front of Solomon in a blink of an eye. And ‘Ifrit’ means strong/powerful. I thought that was a nice detail.
