If i were to guess, "chapter champions" are likely armor sets worn by specific characters, of which there are many in 40k. So, it's likely that you'll eventually see a bunch of kharns running around.

you can pretty much bet money chapters will be represented with fierce passion. i played several tournaments playing as raven gaurd, celestial lions, and space wolves and every group felt like family the community for space marine 1 got me into the hobby and i’ve met some great people painting and playing table top i really don’t expect the community for spacemarine 2 to be any different

im almost positive "Champions" is a cosmetic thing. Warhammer uses the word Champions like their lives depend on that word, it probably won't mean anything past cosmetic. think a Kharn the Betrayer or Cato Sicarius made into an armor set.

Power Fist is shown in trailers. It's possible the final version of the game has it. (this is why I hate leaks - people tend to report on them as if they're final. It could be the case, but the reality is, until the final version is out, we don't know).

Thinking about the future updates, expansions, and DLC for the game, I have a wishlist of things that I hope make it in. But the main things I hope for is a playable Terminator class and Lightning Claws melee weapon for Assault and Terminators. I think Terminators would be a really nice addition to the roster and it wouldn't play like any of the other classes. Slow, deliberate, powerful, tanky, with limited teleportation capabalities. I'm not sure if Saber will be interested in going this route, but there are many different choices they could make to add to the roster of classes. Techmarine, Apothecary, Librarian, and Chaplain are the most notable of course. It might be odd, but I'm all for the rule of cool.

@@ULTIMATZEKROM If they added the Chaplain as a class, I wouldn't want them to make the Chaplain's ultimate ability just a number crunch. What I mean is, I wouldn't want the ability to just mitigate incoming damage, increase outgoing damage, and/or add a shield to nearby allies. That's lame to me. I'd want it to be an impactful, tide-changing ability. Like a crowd control where you chant out some awesome warcry or hymn and stun all enemies in a cone in front of you or something.

As much as I really want some TDA I don’t know how they’d balance that and keep it lore reasonable. Then again, they have Gravis armor in the game which is the tier below TDA, so it could be possible, purely for rule of cool. Maybe give the Termie double the armor amount of the Gravis, but then add armor piercing abilities or ammo mods to counteract them. Both exist in the lore. Would absolutely love the addition of Techmarines, Librarians, Chaplains and Apothecaries though! The potential for the game is high, I hope they give it the lasting love it deserves

With the passion that the developers have put into the game through reading the black library books and exploring the tabletop game, It makes me optimistic. I've also seen some stuff on reddit of people who have played the leaked build (thankfully I've avoided spoilers so far while looking for opinions), they've said that it is as good as it actually looks from the trailers even for the incomplete state the build was in, but we'll wait for launch and form our own opinions I think..

I see your point, but I don’t find any harm when you’re not spoiling it for others. I am a massive fan and the Smurfs are my 2nd favorite Chapter, I played the build and enjoyed my time. I refuse to spoil it for others that want to wait. Also, I’ve had the game pre-ordered since they opened up and signed up for the beta last year. Even though I’ve completed the story, I’m still excited to play the Ultra Edition when it officially releases and will give them money any chance I get because this game is worth it.

Hmm, leaked? If it's a PC build, then so be it. But I'm not sure if you can leak a controller PS5 build. Haptics and trigger adaptations are the real immersion that you can't get from these builds. Unless you figured out a way to have the haptics work. (I'd say it is much harder to leak a production build for Sony, Xbox, etc)

It literally isn't. A PS5 and an Xbox is nothing less then a lesser PC. It's a PC more or less just one that's obsolete the minute it's launched and turned on its parts are already dated and not used by anyone else. And this get used for consoles. @@jrr7031 There's already the Assault class with a jump pack. I assume you're talking about the Vanguard class with the wrist mounted grapple launcher. It's a canon class of Space Marines too. They're generally called Reavers.

@@broadwater5218Exterminatus was fun, but I think games need to move on from horde modes and hop on the HD2 mission style train because it is far superior IMO. Just imagine dropping down in the pod with your Brothers to clear out a map of objectives and extract via Thunderhawk when done, way better than camping for dozens of waves. That’s for Iron Warriors and Imperial Fists to do haha

@@broadwater5218 yeah, I can only speak to the dev build regarding how PVE is. The easiest thing to compare them to are MWII co-op missions, they have a linear narrative with a pre-determined and never changing end result, what does change is how you get there. Some procedurally generated parts “spice” it up a bit to make them more replayable, mostly by changing where enemies and collectibles spawn and what types for both will spawn, the faction doesn’t change though (for narrative cohesion) and the type of objective event may change. An example is you may face a Tyranid bone sword warrior at a camp, but then replay it and you’ll have to find some launch codes on dead Guardsmen as your objective this time. No HD2 type missions were present, I was only saying I hope they add it down the line, I’d prefer it over Exterminatus mode personally. That said, I won’t complain if they bring the mode back either! More content is more content and I’d be happy with it. Dreadnought assault would be epic too, but that was (and still is) super unbalanced albeit still fun if you were winning

Playing the campaign once you complete a mission as Titus you can free roam the battle barge and then use a terminal next to a thunderhawk to then Choose to play an 'Operation' which is where you can choose one of the SM classes to farm XP and currency for weapon mods/skins etc on a separate run of the same mission if that makes sense

The game reminds me alot of Ryse Son of Rome but not as immersive. It is repetitive. You have been warned. Please do not preorder. It gets tedious and numb not long in. Story is.. mediocre
