What I find interesting is that Envy demons are the only ones that change the color of the environment to that of their own ring. (Glitz and Glam made the whole venue purple when they were performing, and Rolando made the outside and the pool room of his hotel purple.) It's almost like they're foreshadowing

There is evidence that the Envy Ring is not completely submerged. It's not much, but the promotional tee for Verosika's Hell Tour lists one stop in each ring where she will be performing, including a place called Levitowne in the Envy ring. But it does make sense that the vast majority of the Envy ring would be rendered deliberately inaccessible to everyone and everything but the deep sea demons. And I would suspect that Levitowne and other fully accessible areas would probably feel a lot like Las Vegas -- like they're just one big-ass shopping mall or theme park where non-DSD hellborn can ship and sell what's manufactured in their own rings and the DSD take great delight in making it readily apparent how much better off financially they are than the employees. It will not surprise me one bit if, when I.M.P. finally does have an excuse to visit the Envy ring, one of the first things we see is a montage of DSDs yelling at cashiers "Do you know who I am?!" and "I make more in a week than you do in a year!" The proverbial hell of such, of course, would be that such would have the opposite effect. A home completely submerged underwater is a bad thing everywhere else, including Earth, so the DSDs may think they're living like Keeping Up with the Kardashians while the rest of Hell looks at them like they're watching Swamp People. And if the Envy ring is living entirely off of imports with zero farming or manufacturing done locally, all it would take for the entire ring's society to collapse is for the non-DSDs to decide the money isn't worth it. If such an episode began with a montage of Karens mistreating employees, the gag they should throw in at the end is Blitzo and co. walking past one door after another with a "Closed because nobody wants to work anymore" sign on it.

The fact thay Envy is most likely a rich community only adds to the fact that all the Rings from Greed to Sloth are comprised by cities, while we have Rings like Wrath and Gluttony where nature is predominant, with one being a desert and the other a jungle. Even the Pride Ring, despite having Pentagram City and Imp City, seems mostly characterized by a vast wasteland with mountains and other 7 Circles yet to explore. It almost feels like there is a separation between the higher three Rings and the lower four not different from how Dante Alighieri distincts the Nine Circles between Higher Hell (Limbo-Lust-Gluttony-Avarice-Wrath), where the sins of excess are punished, and Lower/Nether Hell (Heresy-Violence-Fraud-Treachery), where the sins of malice are punished within the walls of the City of Dis.

While Mammon is likely the most evil devil in the show, the Envians are probably the most unpleasant Hellborn species because of how they function.

I think in technicality the reason why the Envy(Fish) Demons are more superior, in ability and strength without relying on skills they are basically born with unique traits and powers, while the Lust Demons mostly just have attraction, transformation, and primarily wings + their entire ring bases off of entertainment, and the Imps(Wrath ring) basically have NO abilities whatsoever and just adapted due to harsh conditions of being forced into war a lot of them know how to fight and have to know how to fight, aswell as the greed ring (has Prehistorics) Sloth ring might be more into professions and expertise than strength-- and ofc the Gluttony ring mostly has services for their hounds used for adoption or employees even rental. Leviathan has put up a high standard for her demons more likely and we would barely see any half or mix breed of Envy demon and different species because they barely go to other rings and have high standards (most of the envy demons we've seen so far were very snotty and gives off a lot of attitude and bitchy vibes)

I didn’t get the hate for Bees design choice after her design was first released- but after hearing that Leviathan will be a surfer-dude- I totally get it. So many of these powerful characters are so goddamn unserious, I was hoping Leviathan would follow the biblical lore, having his mate slain on earth leaving him a brooding and envious character, stricken with envy of those who never had to lose their lovers, evoking pain on others to soothe his own pain. Two questions. One: how can every other Hellborn demon take on human forms but imps can‘t? Two: Can sinners maybe transform too? Like turn themselves into how they looked liked before they died.

Not sure about question one but I would say the answer to question Two is No. Part of the Sinners punishment for being in hell is to have at least one aspect of themselves they don't like. For example Angel Dust doesn't like his long legs. Wouldn't be much of a punishment of the could change their appearance.

I think imps are capable, they just never really are taught since they’re just seen as cheap labor so they have no reason to be down in earth to do important jobs since they think they’re capable of it
