Remember: Joker doesn't care who Batman really is under the cowl. To him, it will ruin the mystery and "magic" of their relationship. He even tells Harley in Arkham City: "No one’s who you think they are, my dear. Why spoil the fun?" He thought the truth would be a total letdown.

Its a very grounded version of Batman 1989 it seems, which has a similar origin of Jack Napier just falling into a literal open vat of chemicals that burns in the gouache appearance. He was already a "bad seed" before that and killed Bruce's parents in that version. This version seems to be Joker was deformed from birth and was a chemical terrorist, which after running into Batman got splashed with his own product deforming him even more. He's not reached The Penguin version of Joker yet, I think.

You have seem to have made a number of mistakes which I shall now correct. 1) You didn't put a form of punctuation between "veteran Batman" and "the Batman", thus making a run on sentence. 2) "the" in "the Batman" needs to be capitalized. 3) You do the same thing with in both of your replies to my comment and I won't tell you where because you should know basic English by now. 4) At no point did I say "The Batman(2022)" was based entirely off of "The Long Halloween". I was making a conclusion based off of my own knowledge of the character. That is your own assumption that you have projected onto me as a form of false rhetoric. 5) At no point did I mention the word "trilogy". Stop making assumptions you sound like a damn chat bot autogenerating argumentative points. 6) I would like to hear your theory about The Court of Owls but instead of elaborating on that theory you instead mention it only once and act upon the assumption that I should already know. Get pǝʞɔnɟ sideways you worthless whiny ʇunɔ, and have a good day.

If we get a Joker Show? I think a "Joker in Arkham" where it covers the flashback "Origins" of the joker would be interesting. -The series is seen from the POV of Jokers Psych doctor, and Jokers narration. Very similar to a Silence of the Lambs! -We'd get viewpoint of a year one Gotham from the citizens, criminals, and Bruce Wayne. -We'd get to see the initial conflicts of Pre Joker and Batman (vat of chemicals) -To actual Joker conflicts with Batman -Apprehending of Joker by Batman -To the ending where Joker escapes Arkham, with his psychiatrists help. So the opposite of Silence of the Lamb, this time the bad guy fully manipulates the person studying him.

I love your breakdown of the Joker based on this one cut scene from the film. I sort of understand why they might have wanted to cut it. But did they cut it because the movie was already getting too bloated or because in their writing brainstorms for the future installments this scene somehow conflicted? Either way, I have to agree with what you drew from this scene. It leads me to suspect a few possibilities. Was Joker an agent of some kind, who may have even been investigating his own crimes? Was Joker a genius chemist? A psychologist? Does Gotham even know who he is? I could see the reason they might have Joker locked up, aside from his obvious demented state, could also be because he refuses to reveal his identity. I would prefer if his original identity was never revealed. Maybe do conflicting flash backs in an unreliable narrator style. Though I think that overly muddies the waters. The Joker is a force of nature and part of that is due to never knowing where he originated. He is just suddenly there like a sudden gust of hurricane winds. I like the idea of seeing him not yet fully formed, in a transformational stage, but not preceding that at all. Give out little clues to chew on but never fully say what is true. The Joker is a genius and a liar. He will do anything to amuse himself and stave off boredom. Sort of like a demented form of Sherlock Holmes.

i am by no means an expert on matt reeve's batman lore, however, i still like to theorize about the characters. in this universe i could see the joker starting as a serial killer dubbed by gotham as "the red hood" and as for his methodology, he uses his job at ace chemicals to steal chemicals and weaponize a concoction against his victims to disfigure them much like how he is disfigured. for a week straight, gotham could have been plagued by "the red hood killings" which would eventually lead the batman to discovering the red hood's hideout within ace chemicals. the red hood's reign of terror ends with him falling into a vat of his own chemical concoction while trying to escape the batman which in turn gives him the iconic white skin and green hair alongside the grotesque chemical burns we see on his body!

I'd love to see this dynamic continue in the other movies, Joker is a bit over saturated so keep him on the sidelines for now. Use him as a profiler here and there to help with cases, but his motives are to get all of Gotham's weirdos in one place, Arkham. Sequels have a problem of trying to keep upping the escalation until its a bit ridiculous, Id want to see a 2 part finale where joker has taken over Arkham, unleased all the inmates and trapped bats inside. make it a mix between the Arkham games and Scott Snyder's new 52 run where Joker see's batman as King and himself as court Jester who deeply loves him. Each inmate controls a certain area of the asylum while Bats makes his way through to the middle. Also, Nicholas Hoult should be HUSH

In the first joker movie they were playing around with the fact that joker might be Bruce Wayne seniors illegitimate child so that would have made joker Batman’s half brother. Same father different mothers. After getting punched by Wayne senior my theory was joker goes fully mad and everything in the Batman universe is just in jokers imagination. Basically Batman being a figment of his warped mind, going up against his sibling who he is jealous of because his father left everything to his baby brother. My mate said it was a shit theory.

Born as joker. Lol. Jk. But what if that’s the plot twist and mislead

Keoghan was a complete miscast. I don't understand how people think he was good. His performance was literally "I'm the jokah baby" levels of cringe

Guys, stop comenting the awful ideia of three jokers, lets forget that,huh? Shall we? It might go away if we do

i think the joker would be a waste of time in this universe. I think the best villains they could go with are hush and the court of owls, Zsasz perhaps as a side plot.
@retzhbb2 ай бұрын
Yeah but hush and court of owls would be to similar to the themes of the Batman , it’s pointless
@LongShlongJohnson2 ай бұрын
honestly, you can't have Batman without his #1 enemy. I just hope they save him for the end and maybe have him and Oz both being major villains in 3
@zuccsucc4762 ай бұрын
@@retzhbb what? Yeah that's the whole point. The movie is a detective thriller and those are the best villains to help keep that theme.

@@LongShlongJohnson I just don't think he'd fit well unless they made him different and the joker needs to be the same.

Pro tip: If you want your Joker to work, he has to be funny. Along side all his creepy and intellectual qualities, the jokes need to land.

Matt Reeves already said this joker didn't fall into chemicals. Please do your research before spewing misinformation. Ts is just embarrassing
@Kasigi03Ай бұрын
Reeves has already stated this Joker DID NOT become disfigured from a chemical accident. He has a genetic condition that causes a rotting like situation for his face. However, that doesn't really explain the red lips or green hair. Hopefully there will be NO inspiration from Three Jokers. One of the worst conceived ideas ever. The Joker movie made the Joker mystique lame and boring. He's a loser who wears makeup, not a criminal mastermind.
