The SureColor S9170 is the latest addition to Epson's solvent printer lineup, but it’s not intended to replace the S80 Series.

how about the S40, S60, S80.. will they be discontinued or will they get a new body like S91 ?

At this time, there are no immediate plans to replace the S40, S60, or S80 models, and Epson has confirmed that the SureColor S9170 is not intended as a replacement for the SureColor S80.
