Me as well. I hope that HelloGames uses their experience from No Man's Sky to really make this game great and I believe that's why they aren't giving the game any specific release date because they did that with No Man's Sky and had to continue delaying it. But I am very hopeful for this game!

I loved no mans sky on playstation. Literally played it from the beginning all the way to current update. then I got a pc. It's even better in pc. Couldn't believe how smart it looks. Incredible job

After seeing what they've done with no man's sky, I am perfectly willing to buy this game day one, even if it's incomplete and flawed because they've shown they will stay the course and keep developing the game

You cant say beautifully crafted world when its procedural generation but it does look very good and i prefer random biomes

The predetermined rules/parameters are doing the beautiful crafting. You can't really say No Man's Sky isn't a beautiful game.

If only these devs just looked at some Minecraft mods from 2010.. 1000s of hours of content and perfect gameplay loops for survival/openworld just sitting there

I have a great feeling theyve learned alot from NMS and will use all that wisdom to make sure this releases in a much better state than NMS did, that being said Im super excited about this game it looks like it checkmarks alot of boxes that interest me

Hopefully LNF has portals that don't work and drive you crazy after release just like NMS.

Whatever they do... they need to pull the camera back. No Mans Sky always felt like I had my face jammed up against the camera... the most unique FPS feel, and not exactly the best feel.

@@jdmaine51084 i never played NMS, but camera manipulation is like a obvious necessary feature for a third person game, itd be wild to think theyd forget about something so simple

@@Alolan.Vulpix.Getting.Railed NMS is first and third person. It's specifically the first person camera perspective I'm referring to. Maybe go try it for yourself and you'll see what I mean. It's uniquely weird.

@@jdmaine51084you can max out your fov wich helps a little. But if use one of the wingpacks youre just not gonna see anything when you use your multitool no matter the FOV

You're not alone on that tbh. A lot of people haven't heard about Light No Fire yet because the developers have kind of been keeping things under the radar since their announcement. Hopefully more news comes out soon!

since this is multiplayer, if we can have a player made cities, it would something special. as long as resources arent easy to spam, it should give a chance for some unique styled cities that should add to the overall state of the game and value over the long run + add to a vibrant community. also if they reduce the sheer size of the planet, it would be better. or have each regional server as a location on this planet rather than having other instances. the possibilities are endless, but the map shouldn't be lol. no one wants to play a game that is multiplayer and cant meet other players.

My dream is there are one of a kind type items in the world. Swords armor and so on. Imagine finding some badass sword say something like Excalibur. And it’s a powerful sword. In the only player in millions that has it. Ok. Other players want it. Not sure if I’ve seen anything about PvP in game. But if not others might would buy it. In game currency or even real money. That would be freaking crazy to me.
