Although Wilt didn't recognize Jordan as the GOAT but he had a lot of nice things to say about Jordan, at least. What Wilt was really jealous of was Kareem, whose playing days overlapped slightly with his own. Because Kareem had even topped him in GOAT poll in the early '80s, and Kareem had broken his all-time scoring record. 🙃and It's fun to imagine how he would have reacted if he had seen LeBron and his self-got claims. Big Mouth Wilt's criticisms would have been scathing. 🤣

Haha LeBron James and LeBron James’ fans can’t stop talking about Michael Jordan. The late Wilt Chamberlain and Chamberlain’s fans were both so focused on Michael Jordan. The older folks’ lists look ridiculous with Bill Russell or Wilt Chamberlain being the Goat, and the younger folks’ lists look ridiculous with Stephen Curry and LeBron James being the Goat. The only one that makes logical sense is the man in the middle aka the BRIDGE between Chamberlain/Russell and Curry/LeBron…and that BRIDGE is the greatest basketball player that any of us has ever seen, the GOAT of all goats Michael Jordan. 🇺🇸 🏀 🇺🇸 🏀 🔥 🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪

Michael is also #1 on my all time list, with the only caveat that I've never seen Wilt play live to truly understand what he was all about. Wilt's records are inevitable, yet everyone acts as if they don't exist.
