Grom audio, iirc, makes a nice aux adapter that plugs directly into the back of the headunit. You'll still need that aux to proprietary port adapter but I liked it better than the classic cassette to aux. Oh and 133.7 on the dyno...

Car looks to have definitely been a city car with all the little dents and dings on the exterior. I still have my 337 that I bought brand new in July of 02. It currently has just over 24k on it.

yeah it seems that the bumper damage is from Boston city driving and the quarter panel and such are from accidental bumps while it was in storage at a farm.

Look up the RCN-210 stereo for the car. It's OEM and only about $130. Has bluetooth. This makes me miss my mk4 Golf TDI.

haha yeah i spent all of 20 seconds looking around at the typical rust/corrosion spots before knowing i was gonna buy the car, pending a test drive and thorough look over. all said and done im into this car for about 9k. that includes purchase, timing belt through a shop, winter wheels/tires, and all the other maintenance/stock parts ive put on it so far.

@@mk1rabbithole P.S. I have the “Chinese” version of the Bluetooth Mk4 radio (RCN210) & it’s not all that bad for $130 & not OEM. My only complaint is it only locks into the console on 2 key ways rather than the stock 4.
