Good video, if I may though : - The M7 launcher entered service in 1943 and was widely used. - For the Springfield M1903A1 it's not missing the front sight, they literally modeled what looks like a M1903A4 instead of the proper A1. - Holding a STG 44 by the mag is un-practical as it's way too low and close to the other hand and may cause jam. On an other matter, it's funny how this game from 2008 is still more historically accurate than Vanguard lmao. - The FG 42 is missing its bipod.

Although it was possible, topping off the M1 was never done in combat. GIs and Marines didn't generally carry loose rounds for their rifles, why would they? They generally either emptied the magazine or did partial reloads although the latter wasn't as common. Secondly, the only difference between a Registered Magnum and a Model 27 was the markings. Smith & Wesson moved from model names to model numbers in the mid-50s. Other than that, good video.

The Thompson drum if it theoretically would fit in the m1a1, would go in sideways not upwards, also the fg42 has a last round bolt hold open on the full auto mode, so the reload animation is incorrect. The german soldiers were actually issued with spare G43 magazines, and had pouches for said magazines, and I have a feeling it was even more unlikely to see a double barreled shotgun in ww2 than it was to see a .357 magnum revolver. Also, holding a 1919 that way is actually fine, especially considering the in game character has some cloth or whatever wrapped around the barrel. The bigger issue would be since you're essentially holding a machine gun by the stock, your hands would likely hurt from the weight and power of the machine gun if you shot it long enough.

the P-38 did not had a push butene mag release by the trigger that let the mag drop freely. like the M1911, and TT-33 have. the p38 has what is called a Heel type release underneath the grip. meaning you would have to use yore other hand to strip the mag out.

You forgot to mention that the MG42 bolt should be pulled back first before putting in a new belt since it’s open bolt

Few addition for DP-27/8: 1. It should have slightly higher fire rate. 2. Russians usually refer it as DP-27 which is referred to the year it was designed, 1927. While the West refer it as DP-28 for the year it was produced. 3. For some reason, it was only appeared in Multiplayer despite it's a perfect weapon for the Single Player mode. But there are some historical mods could be able to solve this and its fire rate for us, thankfully.

For a 2008, this game is fairly accurate for it's weapon portrayal.

The thing with the Garand is 100% true. It's kind of an intricate process, but you can essentially pin the clip between the bolt and the breech, allowing you to stick some more rounds into it.

more like 50% true, yeah it's possible but I doubt it was done more than very rarely.

I'd like to point out with the scope reticles for snipers being incorrect, there are other reticles in the game files but either due to a bug or just not being implemented they aren't used, as far as I'm aware atleast

Can't remember if I commented on this video or another one but the M1919A4 is all jacked up. It looks like he's holding the barrel jacket with a cloth ammo belt wrapped around to protect your hand. While a good idea, it doesn't help much with raising it up to eye level and shooting as it weighs 35lbs. When you hold it by the barrel jacket and the pistol grip it's very awkward and hard to hold up even with good upper body strength. The sights are also incorrect. They're flipped up and missing the adjustable aperture. Lastly, the reloading is all wrong. It's a closed bolt machine gun and there is no bolt hold open. There was a safety bar that could be added but it's not on there as far as I could tell. And even if it was you don't pull it forward as the bolt will potentially not seat correctly if helped forward. When reloading you do it one of two ways. 1. Open the top cover, lift up the feed pawl, place ammo into feed tray, lower the feed pawl on first round, close feed tray cover, and then pull the bolt to the rear and release. 2. Insert cloth belt with metal pull tab into the opening of the feed tray with the cover closed, pull and release the bolt to the rear twice. I know that's super in-depth but I own one and I hate when it's portrayed wrong.

so correct me if im wrong, but a 1911 has a 7 round magazine, with one in the changer plus a 7 round thats a 7+1?
@TheGREYPELT2 жыл бұрын
Yes, 1911s of that era were 7+1 but no other guns in any CoD get their +1, meaning that the capacity is based on anachronistic 8 round magazines.

5:34 Browning M1919 is a closed bolt machine gun. So the bolt does not open while reloading

Wouldn't the shroud on the barrel of the M1919 that the player holds onto be enough to keep his hands cool? Looks like a wrapping put on the gun for just that.
