What’s behind the thousands of cancer warnings you see at the store? IARC.
The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is a UN body that investigates compounds and products for their toxicity.
However, the organization has been found to be corrupting the scientific process by cooperating with trial law firms to get huge payouts for lawyers. How does IARC operate? What inspired the famous California Proposition 65 that slaps cancer warning labels on thousands of consumer products? What does this mean for your everyday consumer products?
Here we investigate everything wrong with cancer warning labels and the flawed science and lawsuits that are manipulating the scientific method.

The people of California voted for the labeling via a proposition (65). The labels are everywhere - like on all new cars and all restaurants. Someday I think all products sold in CA will need a label.

I remember reading an article in the local paper about carrots causing cancer in rodents after they liquified them and then pumped some insane amounts through their bodies. At the time I wondered what the hell the point of publishing that in a mainstream newspaper was. Can't they just stick to rotating articles on coffee, chocolate and red wine either causing most ailments one week, then curing them the next?

Sure we shouldn't overestimate the effects off certain substances and should always react within reason, but come on, this is just demonizing scientists for their research because of what people do with their findings.

It seems like this video was made as a counterintelligence operation... but I'll give them the benefit of doubt in case they haven't done their own research in the literature that's out there. Or they could have been paid by Monsanto to make this. Glyphosate definitely destroys microbes and plant life. Farmers spray it directly on wheat to kill the crop early for early harvest since they normally have to wait for it to die to harvest and package. Farmers also have to deal with their children being born with low levels and high levels of neurotoxic damage from all the chemical exposure, look into it yourself if you don't believe me. It kills plant life through the shikimate pathway which we likely have that pathway or a similar one in our gut (hasn't been proven yet). It's patented as an anti-biotic. Anti = against biotic = biology. Antibiotic pills work at alleviating symptoms temporarily but at the cost of hurting all the healthy microbes in your gut. Which has caused our species to be allergic to many different foods like peanut butter which have high levels of glyphosate. Actually, most foods people all of a sudden are allergic to are foods that are known to contain high levels of glyphosate. Are they allergic to the food or glyphosate?

I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in late April 2015 after being sent to a hospital in Bunbury to have my appendix out. I was working up to that day. When I woke up saw the wound, I knew it was more than my appendix. A couple of days after the operation the doctor told me I had ovarian cancer. I was flown to Perth about 2 weeks later. The wound was infected and there was a lot of fluid to drain out. My appendix had not been removed because the surgeon in Bunbury could not find it due to the cancer. On the 3rd of May, the surgeon operated and removed a large amount of my small bowel, appendix, ovary, fallopian tube and the Omentum. After the operation, he was able to confirm that I had Stage 3B grade 1 serous ovarian and peritoneal cancer. I had to be resuscitated the next day as I started to have internal bleeding. This required two blood transfusions. I was in terrible pain. After 9 days in hospital, I went with a gaping hole in my stomach with a drainage bag as the wound would not heal. It took almost three months for my wound to heal. In all, I had 8 rounds of very aggressive chemotherapy and finished on November 2015 and I went into remission from the cancer. I am so grateful to be alive today all thanks to DR.HARVEY who cured me with his herbs and roots I saw his testimonies of people he cured before i collected his contact and purchased his herbal medicine he gave me instructions on how to administer it i obeyed here i'm today free and totally healed i'm forever grateful sir. I'll answer this seriously. In Australia at least, it is a lot. I'll post a link to the statistics in a separate comment in case it gets blocked. In summary, politicans in Australia work an average of 6 days per week, averaging somewhere around 12-15 hours per day. However I believe they count anything that they do in relation to their job, like travel, research and media interviews as work.

The recent one about coconut oil is a bit funny. Fortunately, a lot of people these days don't buy into such nonsense. The research "warned" that coconut oil could cause cancer (so *could* most things around us!?) and was poisonous BUT it said in the content that one ought not to use *virgin* coconut oil with heat because that could cause cancer. I thought it is common knowledge that you must not use any *virgin* oil with heat, be it coconut oil, olive oil, etc. Even if there were people who didn't know about that, spending loads of millions on a grand-scale research to deliver such a cooking-101 blanket statement to the public is perplexing to me.

I’ve done a lot of work (selling equipment) to oil refineries and their specialty chemical divisions. I’ve been around benzene chemical processes many times. The maintenance guys tell me they used to work their tools in benzene in the 70s and 80s. Then it was labeled a carcinogenic. I used to clean tools in gasoline years ago. Those guys retired and I haven’t heard of any of them dying from cancer.

Controlling? It's more like the opposite. I agree with you though that in a free market, transparency should be required. This vid is just showing the down side of it in our current way of implementation.
