Fun fact! There actually is a difference between a “zoh-ologist” and a “zoo-ologist” A “zoh-ologist” is someone who studies animals in general, while a “zoo-ologist” focuses specifically on zoo animals. Given the circumstances in this movie, Jeremy actually used the correct pronunciation. Luckily nowadays it doesn’t really matter which you say. :D

Jeremy's argument about the 4 player thing is accurate, something I myself noted was that Jumangi was a 4 player board game, so meaning that either the Writer's made a 5th character to subvert expectations, or reveal that the board game is omnipotent, I'm betting on the later, but I get the feeling that the writers were on the former. About that sin regarding people speaking French in America, while that is technically possible I’d like to point out that in movies scenes usually have a point. In movies that aren’t very good, more scenes tend to have less of a point and not every movie is perfect, but in Jumanji the kids speaking French felt like something to establish where the game had ended up. It seems odd that an American movie would end on a scene where the onscreen characters are just randomly speaking French. Maybe if it was Spanish or something I could possibly see it happening, but barely anyone in America speaks French. In a movie scenes occur to establish things and show what’s going on. I know that the first jumanji isn’t great (idk about the second one I haven’t seen it yet) but most of the scenes had some kind of a point and I don’t see why the kids would be speaking in French unless it was to imply that they’re in France. Sorry about the rant. It’s like 12:40am and I remembered this sin and it bugged me and I couldn’t fall asleep without pointing this out.

you do know that louisiana is a place right? and that some places in Canada speak French, Canada is part of north America. in Louisiana it is not uncommon at all for people to speak french in fact we are the only state that uses Parishes rather than districts. the city where my grandma grew up a lot of people spoke Italian. you going to rant on that too.

Mistakes do happen in cinema, marvel for example has made several mistakes while linking itself to past movies in the franchise.
