Alas, you may have been a box office failure, but you will always have a strong place in my heart and end of year list, Furiosa. Also, really enjoy for as much as this is made to be a prequel for Furiosa, it also serves as both a showcase for more understanding of the land set up in "Fury Road", the makings of the War Rig, seeing Joe back when he was still a bit levelheaded and even seeing the idea of the wives who, even those who WANT to stay, if they don't met the healthy baby condition within 3 times, they get put to the milkers. It's actually more enjoyable to see how the film livens up the world than it is as a prequel to Furiosa herself.

Better Call Saul would like to have a chat, a prequel show that's also one of the best pieces of modern literature despite already knowing the main character will become a con-artist lawyer for a meth-making kingpin. George Miller always had plans to do a Furiosa film even before shooting Fury Road back in 2014, its called proper 'world building', not some half-assed thought that came to him a year ago. Yes we know Furiosa will live and lose an arm, but thats about it, the world, the vehicles, the score, the cinematography is some of the best in the Mad Max series so far, and thats more then enough reason for why this film is incredible in my opinion, it sticks to what made Mad Max so great, a simple predictable story that's lovingly crafted in a car-worshiping wasteland world with superb stunts and action

Excellent point, but if we tried to invent some headcanon on the spot, maybe it has a foot-operated clutch? In the very, very early days of motorcycling, some models had foot-operated "rocker clutches" (no friction zone, they were either all the way engaged or all the way disengaged, like a lightswitch). With how highly customized every single vehicle is, it's plausible that some mechanic made this change - perhaps to leave the left hand free to use a weapon? That would be a solid reason. To be clear, I don't actually believe this was the intent, just one possible explanation if we want to be forgiving.
