Could someone explain to me how conserving water in the U.S. provides drinking water in Africa? When I take a shower it doesn't destroy the water. It goes to a sewage plant, then to a river, then into the Great Lakes (I live in Michigan) and then into the Atlantic Ocean. You know, that body of water on the west coast of Africa.

@@tomtugboat Wasn't really a comment on Nick's humor (which I think is great). But at that time this was the cause du jour, laying a guilt trip on people for their water usage. If the celebrities and teachers and whoever had been advocating for building desalination plants in Africa, that would have been fine, but I never heard that, it was just "don't water your lawn, people in Africa don't have clean water". Virtue signaling at its finest.
