Another New York fact is this after googling this: You CANNOT see the Manhattan skyline up close from INSIDE LaGuardia or JFK. Not even from Newark Airport in New Jersey. You can when you land there but still, not so closeby.
@alvexok55232 жыл бұрын
@@nthgth I agree with you, but he's still right about how unrealistic it was for Kevin to zigzag back and forth between Central Park, The World Trade Center, Chinatown, The Plaza Hotel (on W. 59th along Central Park) all within, which he pointed out, just under a 2 hour time frame. Another interesting point I noticed was that the renovated apartment of Kevin's uncle was on W. 95th, which is the Upper West Side, but the movie makes it seem like it's just around the corner from the fictional toy store, which was shown earlier (when Kevin first ran across Harry and Marv again) to be just a couple of blocks from the Plaza Hotel. This movie really isn't realistic on how fast Kevin could get from place to place. I also agree that the odds are astronomical on Kevin running across the bandits by chance. Just from 59th street to the southern tip of Manhattan is almost 5 miles, and it's around 2 miles across from the Hudson to the East River. Manhattan is roughly 10 square miles not including Central Park or anywhere north of 59th street, there are hundreds of buildings over 50 stories high full of people, and are over 8 million people overall within that area. Neither Kevin or the bandits are even in their home city. So overall, running across each other is seriously as likely as winning the lottery, and they run across each more than once, completely by chance! (and then the bandits run across that same blonde lady a second time too)
@alvexok55232 жыл бұрын
@@sundeepkuntimad5339 You can see the Manhatten skyline pretty well during the last part of descending into Newark (if you're sitting on the side of the plane facing east), but you can't see it so well once on the ground and from inside the airport, there are too many buildings in the way. Also, see my reply to Brian Liguori on how I agree with Cinemasins that in general this movie isn't that realistic on Manhattan

@@GrandWalkingTours it’s also possible that last year it was right before his birthday and this year it was right after. My birthday is December 22, so I can definitely understand that.

I like to think Kevin was just lying

@@kikiretzorg1467 What kid would lie about their age by 1 year? Maybe if they were 12 and said they were 13, that I could understand. But when you're 9 and say you're 10? Maybe he wanted to be in the 10s but it's silly because it's not even close to teen age.

I'd love to see a sins video on Home Alone 3. Alex taking on criminals wanted by the US Government was great.

Home Alone 3 probably has a lot. I noticed some major obvious ones there. Hopefully he covers those.

It was also absurd that Rockefeller Center was barren except for Kevin and his Mom. When you visit at Christmastime, you don't even have to walk. You just stand and the shoulder-to-shoulder crowd carries you along like the ocean.

I think this is the most sins a movie has ever had.

@@Wrennbird they voted but it has to go to the Senate for trial. So until they do that, this has been nothing but a big charade
