Seriously. Last Christmas Day this movie came on, and I couldn’t remember if I’d ever seen all of it, and IF I had, it had to have been close to 20 years ago. I’m lucky if I remember anything past him first entering the hotel. But all I remember thinking when it was just his parents being questioned by the police detective was how no one called CPS when they admitted this was the SECOND time (I believe in a row) they somehow left him behind at Christmas, and that it once again takes them FOREVER to realize it. And that they really are: ABSOLUTELY, WITHOUT A DOUBT UNFIT TO PARENT. Kevin’s right in saying every other kid in the movie can do anything and not get in trouble. Kevin does one small thing wrong and it’s like Harry Potter being forced to live under the stairs.

It was Marv, and he said "You get on the wrong plane, squirt?" after, if he had the pass, he would’ve just been boarded on the right plane, lol. Overlook

Nope plot twist Kevin purposefully leaves his family all the time while robbing them since he's a psychopath and gets bored easily but he knows someone is watching him so when he wants a break from his family he has to get creative and stay in character since he doesn't know we can't report him to his family and that's why he's never scared of being lost because he planned it out (planning skills shown in his traps) and any time he's "surprised" is just to get them to underestimate him again

Kevin’s thirst for torturing these guys is kinda scary…..

Good thing Kevin knew exactly what the receptionist would say, in the exact order, and also that she didn't have literally any unexpected followup questions. The fact someone wrote this, expecting their audience to buy it, annoys me to this day.

Funny when Kevin is at Duncan's Toy Chest buying his raptor can, and has like a 20 minute convo with that old guy and during Christmas time not a single other customer is on line waiting to pay for anything.
