Mean girls was a movie, then it was a musical, and now it's being made into a musical movie. Oh, and Paramount put the entire film on TikTok during the actors' strike. That's all I got. Oh, and the sins--how could I forget the sins?!
Thursday: horror sequel sins.
Remember, no movie is without sin. Which movie's sins should we count next?

1:07 - Not sure why the movie wanted to make that kind of joke, where the teacher automatically assumed that the black student was the one who just came here from Africa. And Tina Fey's character is an understanding open-minded character the rest of the movie. 6:47 - I agree, Amy Poehler's role was funny in Mean Girls. She's actually only 4 or 5 years older than Rachel McAdams, so she wasn't really an expected choice to play her mother in this movie, Rachel was in her late 20s at the time and Amy in her early 30s

She's actually only 3 years older but then Rachel shaved off four years from her age after this film became a success. She was 29 when she filmed; Amy was 32. Are we not going to comment on how clean the bathrooms are at that school? Holy shit, those bathrooms in that movie were so clean you could do neurosurgery or run lab tests in them. The bathrooms at my school were so dirty and smelled so much like tobacco smoke that I was legit scared to set foot in the stalls because I was afraid of what horrors lurked inside. And no way would I ever eat lunch in them no matter how desperate I was.

I had the misfortune of dating someone in high school who decided to take a shit in the men's bathroom in a spot other than the toilet bowl, if memory serves he took a lunch tray and shit on that, or something close to that, in the bathroom. He ended up cheating on me while I was visiting my grandpa in the hospital, didn't find out until I went back to school. What is really strange though is how he attempted to get ahold of me on Facebook a year ago or so, and its crazy how much he has aged. I never responded back to him. He must think I am naïve.

3:30 ... I was first thinking, yeah, the same cliques tended to sit in the same places at my school the whole time I was there, and in middle school. I think high school had 3 lunch shifts, but everyone tended to sit in the same place year to year. Basically just actually small enough for things to stay so much the same.

22:14 I'd like to mention that even though I don't know someone that was hit by a bus I do know someone that was hit by a car and through physical therapy they were able to make a full recovery in 8 months so its not outlandish to assume that Regina George, a junior was able to make a well-enough recovery to play lacrosse in 9 months for a school team.

You left out the biggest discrepancy to me. Regina says "I found this Burn Book. Only three girls in the whole school aren't in it." First of all, how are they able to write about 500 girls in the whole school? Do they know every student, including in other grades? Is the Burn Book 500 pages long? The three girls not in the book are Regina's three former friends that all the teachers and staff know about. One of the girls says, "Regina is trying to make it look like we did it," which the principal says couldn't be the case because she's in the book. Which is, yeah, how she's trying to make it look like they did it. Also, he acts like Regina couldn't have done that and then the teachers all admit they have been "personally victimized" by Regina George so they know her true character.

hi!! just to clear one thing up as a former resident, "e-town" is a nickname for evanston, the town that "northshore high scool" (fake high school obviously) was set in. cady mentions evanston in her "eating the lunch in the bathroom" scene. the entire movie was set in evanston, part of northshore since thats where northwestern, the college they moved to illinois for, is located in.

She was yet another Hollywood person who got famous way too young and let the partying get to her because she hadn’t had any consequences in her life before. It does seem she’s doing well now, it would be kinda cool to see her do some more serious roles. I could see her making a comeback in those kind of roles.

0:40-0:50 Obtaining Tenure at a University is usually the result of writing numerous studies, research papers, books, discoveries, and advancements in the field. The Tenure is also a vote by the faculty from the candidate’s department. The requirement for Tenure is usually whether it is in the best interest of the institution to award Tenure to the individual, it's followed by awards, achievements, conferences and improving the reputation of the University. It does not necessarily have to mean the professor must teach or lecture at a university. There is a possibility for a professor to obtain tenure without spending a second in a classroom, especially after 12 years.
