Omg man you don't know how helpful this was. Just received my mk5 gti and I have the same oil around the dsg gearbox like you and some problems with the VVT. I was thinking about doing the ballance shafts delete but didn't know that it was so easy.... man you just made my day better. I hope i figure it out with the VVT also cuz the engine had some very bad and old oil in it and I think it may have done some blockages somewhere in the VVT and the oil sump. Have a nice day onwards man, great content like always!

Yo Hamza when you say APR exhaust is it the APR downpipe and the midpipe or it is a catback? Because they don't have a catback listed on their website, for the MK5 anyways.

I need help! Has anyone experienced the waste gate rattle with their Mk5 gti? A bit of research lead me to purchasing a heavy duty clip that apparently solves the problem. Is this something id be able to access myself with the car jacked up? I know it’s under the driver side axle by the turbo. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! - great video as always!

It’s a belt driven engine but also has a chain on the other side of the engine.
