Condensation is normal, new exhaust and that level of smoke is to be expected - like your new brake discs need oil cleaning off, so do exhaust cause they have the same anti-corrosive oil coating which smokes like hell while its new :)

The plastic tank end intercooler should be ok as long as you're not going to be running crazy boost.. They can be bad for cracks if you're running mad boost, leading to boost leaks.

Should have done the Ac condensor also.. if its blocked/fins bent..it will restrict the flow to the rad.... respect though for givin this a go..:)

An idea for the next project car: a 1.8 tsi mqb car, it is the same engine generation as the golf R so all the mods you can put on an R it automatically fits the 1.8tsi. With the right mods you can get as high as 350hp which is nearly twice it’s stock hp.

I have done this for the radiator and the top of the cooling fan is hitting my pipe so the fan can't run freely. All of the cooling system parts are falling on to it so it must be something simple like two bolts I've missed? Or does anyone know what problem I have? Ps the slip in blocks are in the slots were supposed to be but not sure if bolts go in behind them?
