Post Defense is atrocious with the spamming of drop step and post spin. And when you try to jump to block it takes you completely out of position 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

@@VultureCultureFilmzDo your homework. That ship has sailed. They have a partnership with the NBA that grants them license to use the NBA content. Live was due to drop an NBA live title after the last one(5 years ago in 2019) and they told the NBA to stop the release. If a small company tries to make a basketball and it gets any kind of traction 2K will just buy it out or get the NBA to stop it. They have a complete monopoly over the basketball market.

The biggest problem with 2k is that they’re so greedy 😂 they prioritise forcing players to buy vc instead of spending weeks grinding mycareer for it, which now that they’re patching vc methods every 10 hours over actual gameplay issues it’s becoming even more evident honestly if there was a new basketball game that was actually good I’d instantly switch over to it, 2k is the definition of pay to win right now

@ I don’t even need there to be a crazy good 30k vc per hour method or something like that, I just need them to buff the amount of vc things like mycareer give you or something, right now you can’t even grind mycareer it’s like 24k vc per day if u played mycareer all day no breaks full games hall of fame

I agree with everything. I’d also add that 2K is cutting costs on servers. The online connection is terrible, at least in Eastern Europe. I'd say there are two main problems. 1. Farming VC is way too slow. If you set the quarter length to 5 minutes, a single game takes about 20 minutes, including loading screens and pauses. For a game against AI in MyCareer, I earn around 1,000 VC. That’s about 3,000 VC per hour. To fully upgrade a single build to 99 overall, you need to spend around 100 hours. It’s insane, especially if it's your first build and you realize later that you made a mistake with it. It makes you lose interest in playing this game. 2. Online play is basically limited to street basketball 3×3. Wait times in other modes are around 15 minutes. Maybe it has to do with my time zone.

i’m a comp player, 90w% around the board. paint defense is the worst it’s ever been in a basketball game. i have a 99 block with red paint patroller, i can’t get a stop in the paint 1v1 w someone who has any post control. it’s actually sad how bad a game this is

It started off great in my opinion, but then they just buried it. Also, for anyone in Elite, not receiving that HUGE season boost automatically puts you behind by a good bit. I skipped 2K last year for the first time ever, and I should have just left it that way.

My time playing this game, i turn it on, do my daily spins, shoot around for a bit, maybe play a mycareer game and turn it off. The defense on this game is horrible. On the permimeter players just slide off you will an 85 PD. Interior forget about it. Everything is basically an open shot so bad players will still wanna play.. most importantly the game just is NOT fun..

The game engine has been added and modified for so many years now that they cant patch things. If they did, it would cause 3 other bugs. NBA 2k looks more like an online casino that casino games
