13:50 should've been a sin for her wearing pants under her dress. She's a prisoner, they should've dressed her in a burlap sack and called it a day. But no, she asked for perfectly tailored leather pants and shoes, and they figured why not.

To be fair, "I wish I had a child white as snow, red as blood, and black as ebony" was from the original fairy tale. On the other hand, in the original fairy tale, Snow White was considered "fairer than the queen" when she was seven years old, because back then people didn't give a single fuck about puberty. Also also, in several of fairy tales (there are actually a few, and the last two things only applied to one, but still), the bite of the poison apple gets stuck in Snow White's throat, and she gets locked in a coffin and grows up because reasons until a prince finds her and declares that he is madly in love with her because she's pretty, and dislodges the bite of apple from her throat, not kiss her. ALSO also also, professional historians or literature experts or whatever the hell they are analyzed the original fairy tales and determined that Snow White's mother didn't LITERALLY die, it's that the woman she was died metaphorically and she became a new woman who was evil to Snow White out of jealousy. And now I want an apple.

Okay, first they did it with Snow White in this movie, then with Alice in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland and then Peter Pan in freakin' Pan. Hollywood, I must ask you to please stop making characters from fairy tales and children's literature into "The Chosen One". Just because it worked in Harry Potter doesn't mean it's going to work in every fantasy movie. It also turns into the laziest damn story trope unless it's done really well.
@lunadoves

Rae Avon Not that it isn't a terrible movie, but when you fall asleep and wake up, it would make it a little hard to understand the plot/story. I feel asleep while watching a movie, and it was super confusing when I woke up. Now if you said that you rewatched it to see if it was confusing, then it would make your argument a little more convincing and believable.

Koekkie Koelkastrijder Just pointing out, they specifically chose Kristen Stewart to play the fairest even though Charlize theron is clearly prettier, it emphasizes the fact that even though Snow White wasn't prettier than the queen, she was still the fairest based on what was inside, not outside. It wasn't about looks alone. The queen was obviously more beautiful, but that's all she had, on the inside she was a monster. Fairest of them all isn't just about looks.

Kristen Stewart is like the perfect actress for an M. Night Shamalan film. Think about it, she already does everything that literally every Shamalan character does. She is virtually emotionless with a blank stupid stare the whole time even when it should be the emotional height of the film, she talks in a droll, almost bored tone, she's basically just a plastic doll that can move and talk on her own.

Why is it that very Hollywood movie hires an unreasonably hot actress to play the female lead, yet when the lead is actually supposed to be the fairest of them all, they hire Kristen Stewart. Holy fuckin' logic Batman!

Omg just watched this movie ...I was bored.. in what world I Kristen Stewart hotter than Charlize Theron. Could have switched the roles more believeable.

Yeah, it’s the thing that most bugged me about the entire movie. That bitch Stewart does not even come close to the goddess Charlize is! Not in beauty and not in acting skills! Grrrrrrrr.

I have princess Mononoke flashbacks when I saw the scene with the white Dear. They just stole from here and there and have created this crap movie. The only Thing I can't agree is that Charlize is bad actress> she was the only good thing here.

***** I was referring to Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland which isn't much of a children's movie. IMO.

***** Yes I am and no, children can watch it but it isn't really a film specifically for children. It's different to the source material and it's Tim Burton. I like the film but I'd like to see an 'Everything Wrong' video about it.

The worst thing about this movie is that they are making a second one. Shouldn't movies have to do good in the theater or make money to actually warrant a sequel?

Widdekuu91 I loved the Never Ending Story (and still do) but as a kid I would re-watch it over and over, only remembering all the great moments and forgetting the sad ones. The scene with Artax was the first scene in a movie ever to emotionally move me to tears. From the music, to the actor's pain in his voice....damn good movie.

I hate to be a typically pedantic Brit, but when will Americans learn that the term 'British accent' is meaningless? Oh, who am I kidding? I love being pedantic.

humoingat To be fair, the word British encompasses four distinct countries, each with dozens of distinct dialects and accents. Yes, America covers a great deal of different accents as well, but the term 'British accent' is far more vague and ambiguous than 'American accent'.
@CerberusLives
@CerberusLives 10 жыл бұрын
humoingat Although, I guess Americans use the term 'British accent' to mean English accent in the same way we use 'American accent' to mean a US accent, so your point is completely valid.
