@@kylecampbell565 Eggman only needed one Emerald for his experiments; he tried to take Elise's, and ended up taking Sonic's. If he had the Red Emerald, he wouldn't have bothered with the others. Another thing to point out is that he used the Blue Emerald to power up the Egg Genesis, which Silver destroyed. If he was going to put Emeralds in his machines, one of them ought to have dropped the Red Emerald if he had it.

I think I just realised why the load screens are so long, and why they're everywhere in between dialogue boxes. I think the game actually despawns everything and reloads the ENTIRE hub world every time there's a scene change. Instead of, like, just despawning the relevant things and moving them around.

Something I read said its actually worse than that. While yes, the game rebuilds the world from scratch every load screen, it is also reading *all of the game files* front to back to find the ones it needs. Every load screen. Thats also why the load screens always take the same amount of time. Because the game doesn't continue until it has checked EVERY SINGLE FILE to make sure it has loaded everything being called for the current level/scene.

I think you misunderstood the whole "If you have time to worry, then run!" advice from Sonic. It's not really a metaphor for evading your problems; he actually meant taking action instead of worrying. Because he's Sonic, he used running as an example of taking action, since that's literally how he solves his problems (as you yourself pointed out when he took action by running). That's the only critique I have, of course. This video is pure gold. Keep doing God's work.

In Sonic Rivals, Eggman Nega stealing the Master Emerald in the future causes it to disappear from Angel Island in the present due to it being something along the lines of "an object that exists across the time-space continuum." Things like this aren't just ignored, the fact that they're strange is normal in the world of Sonic, which is why I, just like you, am fine with the lack of rules they have.

late response, but it could also be more to that. people tend to judge other peoples actions citing their own knowledge and experiences, which is a major reason why silver is considered an idiot. as you said, he comes from an apocalyptic world. he would not have heard the same stories we have, and would be unable to recognize typical character archetypes and storytelling tropes. also, considering his world was destroyed by a fire demon (and fire is bright) which spawned from a sun god, light might symbolize evil in his culture, so someone affiliated with darkness would seem more trustworthy in comparison

Missed sin: the dark blue Chaos Emerald’s existence. It starts with Elise, and she throws it to Sonic when getting kidnapped. Sonic gives it to Eggman just before the mad Doctor sends them to the future. Eggman puts it in the Egg Genesis, which Silver takes it from after destroying it. Silver uses it to use Chaos Control with Shadow, opening a portal to 10 years in the past. Before returning to Shadow’s time, Silver gives the Emerald to Young Elise as a good luck charm. Elise presumably holds onto it until the Sun Festival Eggman attacks, where she throws it to Sonic. Not only should it be impossible for Elise to have the Emerald while the other games take place, it’s impossible for the Emerald to EXIST outside that 10 year time frame as it’s stuck in a time loop.

@@JHaynes1995 First there was the April Fools video, then there was the cameo in the Sonic Boom EWW, but what didn't help was that he went and did a Sonic 06 EWW Collab with Noir Lilbomber , D.R Productions, and Lysander789 back in 2017 which only added fuel to the fire. He literally dug himself into a hole by saying he'd never do it but constant tease us with it through cameos and the collab which really didn't help and only added fuel to the fire of people asking him to constantly do it. That's like David Productions saying they would never do a Jojo Part 3 Anime and then just constantly teasing us with the idea in many ways until they eventually can't take the pressure from fans and do it. Ya see what I'm getting at?

Honestly, I'd have been tempted to subtract a sin for Shadow roundhouse-kicking Silver in the back of the head, just because it's that hilarious. Plus, it wouldn't exactly have changed the final score significantly.
