I actually do think why there are flaws with the koopalings: Myamoto has favorites. So you know how Bowser Jr. always get's more spotlight than the koopalings? Well it's because Myamoto most likely preferred the idea of Junior of being Bowser's only son rather than the koopalings. And judging by the fact that Bowser Jr. were in Mariokart before the koopalings is evidence. Another piece of evidence is that Bowser Jr. seems to have better battles each time a game is released. But when the koopalings are in a new game, they're battles are just copy and paste. Hopefully the koopalings will temporarily join Mario's side in a future game for all the neglect they suffered through over the years

That'd be a nice, fun twist. It's sad that the Wii U version is so hated because they actually kinda got "original" fights, but have the same problem each time; jump on them as soon as they come out of their shell, jump on them and they can't attack. I noticed this problem with Pikmin 2's bosses as well, I suppose Boss Fights aren't Nintendo's strong point.

I've got some great ideas for the koopaling battles: Larry stays the same for his first fight. But wheres a spike hat in the secend one you've got to lure him to the thwomps on the side of the arena. Lemmy starts on a unicycle and throwing ball bombs racing over the arena. His secend fight features him in a giant robot with hammers with which he hits the ground and makes the ground shake while it's loose head trys to crush you. But if you jump towards the heads bottem you hurt him. And whrn they fight together (yes they fight together) the last two battles combine and Lemmys head has to crush Larry. Wendy works the same as her NSMB2 fight. And her secend makes her swim through the water making her faster and more agile. Iggy's first fight is kinda the same as the NSMB2 fight but with a different Lay- out. His secend fight features him sending swarms of enemys at you. And when they fight together it's Wendy's fight but with Iggy riding a cheep chomp, blooper and as dry chomp (fictional enemy that spits dry fish and chases you) mortons fights are the same as the NSMBU fight and the WII fight but slightly faster. And Roys battle is him as in SMB2 and him big together with boom boom. And when the two fight together they use hammers to hit spike balls at each other either going through the air or rolling over the ground. (When one of them gets hit they both go in their shells. And ludwigs first fight is the fight of U combined with that of WII and his secend fight features him creating ghost hims that cant hurt you and you cant hurt them. You can see slightly through his ghost clones and their are between four to ten of them. He also flutterjumps while his clones don't. And whrn he fights together with bowser JR (cause he's the leader of the koopalings and deserves the honor.) Bowser JR will be the same as the BJR clown car battle in SMM while Ludwig attacks from chains on the ceiling. You can hit them both by using cannons on the ground (like in NSMB2) also the koopalings are adopted (really hope bowser has brought the news already or dinner times gonna get awkward)

My ideas (SUPER HARD verison) lemmy will be the 1st world boss, his strategy is like NSMBW's 2nd fight and U at the same time throwing balls and bombs at player, he can also summon mega koopas too, the ball he is standinf on is big too so you'll need to jump on the ball he throw at you to bounce up to kill lemmy, morton is almost the same as NSMBU, taking over the desert as the 2nd world, he can throw hammers just like the hammer bros, and can groundpound everyone, he can summon hammer bros and pokeys too, just like that game, he also hits the pokey with the hammer to attack the player. Larry will take over the 3rd world as water world, the battle is like NSMBW's wendy's 2nd fight. Larry can summon fishies or dry bone fish and can attack the player in the water, he can also use his magic wand to summon 5 fireballs, like NSMB2 where the balls hit the wall and it bounce back the other side until it disappear, also when the area is not flooded, some fishies will still jump up to the arena like NSMB. Wendy will take over the 4th world as the ice world, her fight is almost like NSMBU, but she throws rings faster and reset speed is faster, and also once wendy summon the rings, the rings will never disappear, iggy's taking over the 5th world as the jungle, his battle is gonna be like NSMBW's 2nd fight, but something change, his magic wand's fireball speed will be faster (i know you guys are like, but he is pretty fast in NSMBW, well im talking the 2nd fight, look how sloe he is) and also, if iggy is stomped, the chain chomp will go crazy and will run a circle in the arena fastly, so the player has to hurry and run after stomping iggy. Roy will takr over the 6th world as the rock world, Roy's battle will be like NSMBU, but he will be WAY FASTER, especially his reset speed, when stomped on, the main platform that is below the moving platform will disappear, and roy will hit you in the shell on the platform. Ludwig will takeover the cloud world as 7th world, his battle will be NSMBW's 2nd battle and U mixed up, use the platform from wii and the flying and cloning technique in U, the real one will not be so obvious and also each round gets much more clones, 3 clones, 5 clones exc. and also if he got hit, he will move his shell and be like super mario kart's blue shell that only hits the 1st player, yep, he'll fly around and once he stops, he drops on the platform, so on that time you're gonna jump to the other platform quickly to avoid the explosions, and boom boom and pom pom will still be in the game. Their moves eill be like super mario maker 2's

I may have your answer Dr. Wily to their story. Do you know bowsers brother? His brother is the blue bowser that apears in Super Mario lost levels. The reason I believe this is because Morton is a jr, and bowsers brothers name could have been Morton, like the way Bowsers son is a Jr also. Although I believe in this theory, I still don't know the Koopaling's, and Bowser Jr's mothers. Maybe Bowser Jr is Bowsers clone like the way in Dog Man Petey try to make a evil clone of himself, but instead accidently clones Lil Petey, a happy and joyful child.

Idk, a lot of these either aren't really true or can apply to pretty much every character's well... Character in the mainline platformers lol. Especially the one's the koopalings appear in, 2d mario was never really super rich in the "giving everyone a unique display of personality" department. Like, in those very games Luigi isn't characterized any different than Mario, despite everyone knowing those differences otherwise. Sure, a mainline 3d appearance COULD help, but those arent much better in that regard tbh. Outside Mario sunshine, Jr doesn't really have much a character beyond "brat" himself. Of course, it makes sense they'd recieve better characterization in rpg appearances cause, that's just a natural benefit of the genre, shouldn't be handwaved cause they're spin offs.

I... don’t know why I’m going talk about Super Mario Maker. Anyway, Since we are talking about the koopalings today, that’s what I’m going to talk about. Ok, I’m basically disappointed with The new SMM. (S.M.M: Super.Mario.Maker) Because Nintendo doesn’t even mention the koopalings at all! (Yes they have junior, but he doesn’t count because he’s almost literally in every game including S.M.M 2) Nintendo just threw them in the trash. They could’ve added them (Yes I know their attacks suck) because with Boom boom you can give him a mushroom to make him bigger and give him wings and that floaty thing. But they leave them behind. Like I said with boom boom, you can give them the mushroom and maybe it’ll affect the attack’s and with the other stuff maybe you could even customize attacks with the things you are given to add to them. Maybe even add the koopaling ships! This would be a great update in the future. Thanks Nintendo.
