#XenobladeChronicles is an incredibly impressive game for the Wii. Even modern-day #JRPGs don't always have the amount of content as this game, with its vast worlds of Bionis and Mechonis, hundreds upon hundreds of sidequests, interesting characters, astounding visuals that make you question how it was even on the console it released on. What I found the most astonishing was how tightly knit the story was. While I have my problems with it here and there, Xenoblade Chronicles is certainly a video game that is close to my heart, and apparently the same can be said for so many others. Let's make fun of it!

35:29 Okay, so this weirded me out the first time when I saw the Colonel was alive. At first it seems like the developers forgetting what they did, but if you go to an unnamed Colony 9 soldier after the Mechon Seige, that soldier will mention the Colonel has a lot of serious injuries and is being taken care of. It's weird because you have to go out of your way to find this information, and it's not even said in any of the cutscenes either which doesn't help much.

Well, if there was ever a time for me to try an anti-sin counter, might as well be for my favorite game. Like the video, I just did this for fun and to maybe spark some discussion, I don't hate the video or Chari. The number represents the sin counter at the moment I'm anti-sinning. 1- yes, actually, they did. Those aren't the names given to them by Egil, those are the names given to them by the homs. Doesn't it make sense to have some type of identification for different types of mechon? 4- as Dunban later says, the monado is controlling him here. Plus, he's suffering from life-long injuries after this. Doesn't it make sense that he's stronger here than he is in the game? 9- you do know that the soldiers in this particular cutscene were recruits, right? Given that the battle of sword valley was over a year ago, I doubt they were a part of the defense force then. 17- because when I hang out with my friends, I always make sure their lives are at risk. 30- Sharla was talking about the people in the refugee camp. Juju was talking about the soldiers still fighting mechon in Colony 6. The reason he's in such a hurry is because, in his mind, people are dying every day they choose to wait. 37- metal face was probably one of the first faced mechon built. I know it doesn't seem original, but it does seem like a starting point. Plus, Egil isn't naming a person, he's naming a machine he built. *40- alright, that's funny. Minus one anti-sin. 42- is it though? Metal face just led them into a trap and ambushed them. If anything it's more of an inconvenience. 46- Sharla and Juju are both very close with Gadolt, a friend of Otharon's. Isn't that enough of a reason for him to want to stick around and keep an eye on them? 51- I mean, if you look at the in-battle animations for heal bullet, heal blast, and most of her other support arts, Sharla DOES kinda just shoot the person she's buffing. 55- is it racist to think that a creature more than ten times your size is in some way inherently frightening? Because I'd say that's more just an observation. 56- I mean, why would he need to? That conversation pretty much boiled down to "I killed some telethia." Melia never asked how he did it, and Shulk doesn't seem like much of a blabbermouth. 58- blaming herself for stuff that isn't her fault is kinda a big part of Melia's character, though. At least it isn't inconsistent. 63- really? You NEVER use Dunban unless you're forced to? Well if you can sin based on your personal experience, then I can definitely anti-sin based on mine. Dunban rules. 65- did you perfectly understand AI the first time it was explained to you? This is the first time Melia has seen this technology, after all. 66- wow, it's almost like she doesn't understand things she never has the chance to learn about! 72- first of all, I never had any problems with this fight, and I've played the game all the way through four separate times. But more importantly, shouldn't the sin here be the fact that the telethia isn't attacking Tyrea? 73- an excellent message that I fully agree with. Why is it a sin though? 75- you do not have to traverse Eryth sea or Frontier village to reach Valak mountain, it is right next to Makna forest. 83- why would they mention her? I doubt she ever came up naturally in their conversations with Sharla. If anything, they're probably suppressing that trauma. 87- altitude is not the only factor when it comes to climate. For example, the Bionis' arm could be further from the sun due to the direction the Bionis is facing. 90- well, he's been filled in by Egil on who Zanza is, so I'm pretty sure he knows what the monado does. Like, a LOT better than Shulk does, at least. 91- honestly, given that the bodies of faced mechon can survive Colony 9's giant ether cannons, as well as Alcamoth's defense systems, with barely a scratch, I doubt Fiora was in any danger at all. The way I see it, Melia just called Mumkhar's bluff. 98- Dunban just did the same thing Shulk did. I mean, you have a point about Riki being able to carry the weight of two homs, but I'm really starting to think you just want Dunban dead. 99- well, I mean, he's on a beach, meaning there's a good chance he fell in the ocean. It isn't stated, but it's at least possible. *103- alright, man, that joke will eventually get old. But it still hasn't yet. Minus one anti-sin. 104- they never say how long they were here. It could've only been thirty seconds. It almost certainly wasn't enough time to answer the questions Shulk would be asking. 113- you could say that monado eater is quite the... Time eater! Get it? Okay, fine, stop throwing tomatoes. *120- minus one anti-sin because this is one of the few instances where I think the writers forgot their own story. 121- we already know that some of Egil's mechon have a recording function. And given their technological prowess, it's really not surprising at all to think the high entia had machines capable of taking videos as well. 123- of course he's saying that to Reyn. Hasn't it been established by now that Reyn is a huge meathead who forgets everything he's taught? *126- Zanza dammit, I HAVE to stop laughing at these! I mean it was so obvious, but then the "YEET!" at the end, man... ugh, fine, minus one anti-sin. *131- okay, subtract another one. You're lucky I have such a soft spot for Melia. 134- it's a different universe, dude. Different rules, different logic. Saying that space travel is easier to invent than teleportation is only true when you're in our world; it isn't necessarily true in this one. For example, you can teleport in minecraft, but you can't go to space. 139- well, Shulk wasn't possessed like Arglas was, he was more so just using Zanza as a pacemaker. Plus, who's to say the soul of a god can't be in two places at once? 140- is that a coincidence? They're both blonde and have british accents, but everyone in this world has a british accent. I just don't see the issue. 143- well, I mean, all objects with mass have a gravitational pull in our universe, and the Bionis is pretty big. But again, different universe, different rules. 145- nitpicking, I know, but Shulk doesn't have the third monado. Alvis does. 148- well the point of Shulk's comment was that he can't use the monado to see the future. The replica monado doesn't have that function, as far as I can tell. 157- well to be fair the colonel survived an explosion too. Maybe we just give explosions too much credit, huh? 161- I mean, it makes sense that Zanza gave him that power, right? He kinda needed it for his mission. The ability to... look like a homs. 166- um... the ocean wasn't salty before. The world Zanza built didn't have salt in the water, but did after Shulk rewrote the rules, that's the whole implication of this line. What's up with you and sinning characters for not knowing things they have no way of knowing? Anti-sins: 32 Overall video rating: 10/10

Actually, 145; Shulk does technically have the third Monado, not Alvis that’s a misconception from the fandom. Also Technically speaking; Dunban and Reyn changing fate was a contribution only possible because of Zanza’s visions which supplemented the ideas into them. This also coincides with the rules of Monadology the game works on, which concludes that everything is pre-established, and technically speaking only a God, of which Shulk currently is (because Zanza killed him), can change that pre-established harmony.

You know Shulks talent gauge fills up with stream edge and encouraging party members? Plus you encourage Party members because they miss a lot. Alsk, you could just go into that fight with Melia, Riki, and Sharla. It makes it so much easier since Soul Read doesn't affect Ether and Ether can still hurt Tyrea. Plus, Mind Blast inflicts Art Seal like Purge, so you COULD have Reyn/Dunban to do good physical damage. Its awkward but not that difficult:/

So, a "few" things I noticed. This list is pretty long: 2:59 This issue only exists in the original Wii version and the Wii U port. Not sure if it carries over into the 3DS port, but they fixed it for the Switch version. 3:45 ...But isn't gibberish just an amalgamation of symbols that stand for something? A better comeback here could be "Even if you can't tell what the symbol means, it doesn't mean it's not one!" What Reyn should've said is "And what could that symbol mean?" 4:38 Cameras do exist in this world, but this photo is the only one in the story cutscenes. Fun fact: Using Melia to beat Lorythia makes the fight soooo much easier :D I battled her so many times and when watching Chugga using Melia, I tried it myself. Needless to say: Melia is the way to go in this fight. It didn´t even take ten Minutes to beat her :D

My implication for Zanza-Arglas is that only a fraction of Zanza's soul was in the monado, and that's why it was weaker. When Arglas died, he disintegrates into tiny particles that are absorbed by Shulk. Soon after, the monado evolves. Even in its design, it looks like a top part has been added to the base, just like the rest of Zanza's soul is now part of Shulk. This is also why the Monado hurt dunban, since Shulk wasn't there, the sword needed to take ether from somewhere... So gotta drink that arm juice.

The reason Metal Face is called that name is because in Japanese he is called Black Face which was changed for racist implications. The Faces are named after their armour colour so Black Face for the black armour, Bronze Face for bronze, then Silver Face, Gold Face and Jade Face. All given those names by the party until they learn their true names. Silver Face never had that name in battle because the party learns the Face's true name not long into their introduction to the party. Also another thing, Tyrea would still count as a princess since she is Empress Yumea's daughter. Just by law instead of blood to Sorean. One last thing i almost missed that is more of a theory is that the records of Zanza were likely disposed of by the Bionite order to protect Zanza since it would likely be recorded there about what he did, as far as they were aware the Monado was simply a sword and did not know he housed his soul in it which would explain why they would care less to tamper with those records. Cause what would deleting records about what they could simply think is just a weapon achieve? Nothing really.

Because his armor coloring was black, and he was a Face unit. Silver Face had silver armor coloring, Bronze Face had bronze coloring. It's purely based on the color armor each Face unit wears.

2 things I've thought about recently: 1: Wouldn't flying be very painful for a High Entia with the wings being on their head? It would be like someone grabbed your head and lifted you up like that. my neck hurts just thinking about it. 2: after Dickson tells the party they will need to go inside the Bionis to reach the upper regions, Sharla says this: "I never thought of going inside the Bionis". But aren't Tephra cave and the Ether mine technically also 'inside' the Bionis?

Frankly, for sin number 98, the blade of the Manado is essentially pure ether, almost like a lightsaber from the Star Wars movies, so forget using it to slow Shulk's fall, considering that you literally use it to slice apart MACHINES that are actively TRYING TO KILL YOU. There is no way that a blade of PURE ETHER ENERGY would be able to generate enough friction to reasonably slow Shulk's fall as the thing collapses. Add to that Melia's own weight as a half-Homs half-High Enitia, and BOTH OF THE ARE DEAD AS FUCK! If anything, DUNBAN is probably the most likely to survive the fall bt grinding his sword against the side as he falls...
