Even that plays into the connecting to the pilot. It shows a personality quirk of a Sinner that relates to the time they died in. In the pilot, Sir Pentious, who died in the 1880s, didn't get the sex jokes that Angel Dust was making. Also Angel Dust was amused by the electric window in the Limo. He died in the 1940s, so before the time of electric windows.

The love potion is actually not a clothing line! It was confirmed that it is an ACTUAL love potion made from val's saliva that he uses to control his workers! Because it is in his saliva, the smoke he blows out IS a love potion, which is the "poison" Angel sings about. Its also the same potion that a loan shark uses to spike Angels drink! Thats why he said he knows when someone has spiked his drink, he is so used to the feeling of the potion already Just remembered this:After Val kisses Angel, you can see his saliva leaking out of his mouth as the effects wear off

My theory as to why Alastor is always smiling is because he's literally & physically incapable of frowning, no matter how pissed off and/or disappointed he is. Also I like to think that he smiles all the time because like he said so himself back in the pilot "You're never fully dressed without a smile". So there's that as well.

Something I really like is that in Lucifer’s room in one of the pictures you can see him wearing basically the same thing Charlie did in the pilot so it’s possible she dressed that way because she wanted to emulate him or it was a hand me down And in the flash back the duck/bird swan thing Lucifer makes flies up and has six wings. Has to be a reference to his former glory as a Seraphim

Awww, I was hoping the ducks were a VeggieTales reference. King George and the Duck where the king is too busy obsessing over his rubber duckies to rule his kingdom, a kingdom he seems pretty disinterested in/disapointed to have. The king of course is played by our loveable doof-ball Larry the cucumber, a main character of the VeggieTales which is a beloved Christian kids show. I realized the similarities mid-rant about the series to my boyfriend 😅 I even got to make the meme quote: "If I had a nickles for everytime we had a theological series involving a neglectful goofy king whose main coping mechanism in life is rubber duckies...I'd have two, that isn't a lot but it's still weird it happened twice." Mammon's contract about Looloo Land calls Lucifer his friend and Beelz' talk about Satan and Belphie shows the Seven Sins probably interact a lot, so it'd make sense that Lucifer's daughter knows them as well as other Goetic royalty. My biggest sadness with the world building is that the interactions among the top brass about the bigger pictures is almost never shown save Mammon vs Asmodeus and Stolas' flashback with his dad. Presumably there's all sorts of collaborations going on amongst the big shots about prophecies and the stars aligning or even just basic hell management and we only get to see inkling of it. Understandable since the protagonists are lower deck for Helluva Boss and Charlie and Lucifer are focused on the hotel but I do hope we see more of what goes on with the higher demons in regard to how they actually rule hell in the future.

They are not just angels but Ophanim, one of the species of the celestial hierarchy and the second to closest of angels to God. Ophan means "wheel" (just like galgal) because they were a wheel within a wheel. According to the story, Ophan was one of those that Ezekiel saw in his vision. The pilot is still canonical! Minus designs and voices. (Edited)The Love Potion is an actual potion that V*lentino and Velvet sell. It might be what that one demon used to spike Angel's drink. The potion is most likely V*lentino's saliva because in one scene (I think in episode 4), he kisses Angel, and Angel has V*lentino's spit on his mouth and looks dazed. The red lines on Vox's face confuse me because we see them when he's upset, but at the end of Poison, he has them, so idk. You are right about the golden fiddle, but the way Lucifer is playing it makes it a violin. Edit: I am wrong. He is playing it fiddle style

I think Adam will be a major or at least more significant bad guy than now not just for hell but heaven as well, he shows zero traits that normally would make someone "worthy" of becoming an angel and seems to only be so because he was the first human man made and I think that will wind up being heavens greatest mistake. He is already pushing boundaries and what he is "allowed" to do and make decisions on his own. With his second in command being the way she is as well and not even caring that the extermination got found out I see them being much worse and finding out they lied about stuff to get their way and for control. It may also take the gray area that both sides are lying and twisting things to get what they want with their own bad guys on both sides, Adam being the bad guy of heaven and someone coming up making things bad on Hells side too. Just feeding the lies and hate for each other.

There's a lot going on in the first six episodes of Hazbin Hotel plus I love that they had a tiny bit of Helluva Boss Reference in A Happy Day in Hell Song when Charlie was on a mail truck plus it's pretty cool that Molly made a cameo appearance in Welcome to Heaven and it literally shocked me when Vaggie used to be an Exorcist, but we obviously knew that theory has been around for awhile. For me, the problem of HH its that there are too much stuff, characters, lore but thre are not enough episodes, I mean, this series are 2 seasons of 8 episodes, we are in the last 2 episodes of the 1º season, and each episode gave us a big number of new characters, the Overlords, the VVV, the angels, Cherry bomb, etc and all the evolution of characters like Angel Dust is in one episode, its going too much fast. For example I would live see more with the Weapons Lady, how she could kill an Angel, maybe more story about her and her Daugers, a conflit with the V girl, etc, but we are already in the "lets go with the extermination".

a couple i didnt see mentioned!! lucifers angelic form is a duck (at least i think, it looks exactly like the duck he conjured in the song he sang with charlie) and ive seen people connect him and the popular ugly duckling story, because he was different and outcast when he was in heaven. alastors tufts are actually ears and you can see them "airplaned" in the beginning of the song he has with lucifer which is so cute and confirms its not his hair. it totally looks like the tattoo on mimzys back has something to do with mammon from helluva boss. the scene where the debris is falling and angel rescues niffty, pentious also rescues her a second time from the same debris falling and its almost a reverse reference to the pilot, when he attacked the hotel and niffty got hit with the debris, which i think is so sweet and cool. lucifer is still wearing his wedding ring the entire time hes in the show which either means him and lilith didnt split up before she went missing, or he cant let go which is so heartbreaking
