Some of you might've missed this, and it's my fault for not including it in the video, but when I talk about the eclipse beginning and HyunJin's eye is shown, her eye is supposed to represent the eclipse. The pupil would be the moon, and the iris being the ring of fire.

In why not Kimlip was floating with orbs in the air casually or not representing oec with green grass , then in the end the same thing occured but with multiple orbs most likely representing loona. The grass was purple, maybe having some connections with choerry. Here, in 3:37 you see kimlip changing to choerry. Something's going on

Kim Lip is also in a scene with a loom, so perhaps it's making you think of sleeping beauty, perhaps alluding to Kim Lips Odd Eye being asleep, or inactive, since it has been since the XX teasers, and seemingly is being reactivated in Why Not.

Some things I've noticed in no particular order: - Only Choerry and Kim Lip are in the pink curtain location, while Choerry and JinSoul are in the space-like location. OEC's two sides? - There are three members that appear out of jailbars: Yves, Chuu and JinSoul. Chuuves would make sense since Eden but JinSoul? - Near the ending, we first see JinSoul sleeping next to Heejin then both with Kim Lip. Where's Choerry? - During the second verse after the first chorus, Olivia dances with JinSoul and Yves (both of which are connected to her) before Vivi and Kim Lip (connected to JS and Yves) appear behind her. - The only members to walk through the light rings are Hyunjin, Vivi and Gowon. Was Yeojin left behind in the moon (Why Not)? - The only members to appear in the colorful room(?) are Vivi, Yeojin and Gowon. - Kim Lip and JinSoul's hands are separated a la Egoist before coming back together. Did JinSoul turn back time again? - Both Gowon and Choerry sleep at the beginning. Why? That's it dijdjfkfkfkf idk if I missed sth but tis what I remember off the top of my head

It seems like in this MV jinsoul either accidentally or purposefully took lips power. That's why when she touched the star it exploded with both red and blue colors. So light jinsoul can only access her blue eye ability. Dark jinsoul has access to red and blue. Which means lip cannot search for choerry, and doesn't run fast enough to catch her other self... so she never unlocks it by crossing choerry, and running after her. So the reverse moon timeline is fully out of whack now. Sadly, that means in this timeline, yeojin saved herself and found everyone... but lip is trapped. (The scene with yves and chuu makes me think lip is trapped in eden, but they could've also meant she's trapped on earth, and chuu and yves already left eden in that scene and were just heading to go partying together.)

Some things I noticed: 0:46 the style of the set looks quiet peculiar and interesting, but I’m not sure about the meaning of it, if there’s is one 1:09 these colored parts remind me of the ones in Heejins Vivid! 1:36 the grass looks just like from Kim Lips scene in why not, so is she looking for her? 2:31 curiously, the ones that are not looking at the tree are Vivi and Choerry? 3:01 I saw something on twitter, what if Chuu is looking at Haseul, because she is actually the only one that can see her? at the end of Heart Attack, Haseul wakes her up, but Chuu can’t see her, but maybe now she can? 3:10 there have been MANY references on their lyrics abou opening doors, one example is on Puzzle! 3:31 the corset maybe a reference to New? 3:32 notice how the only ones that get the space scenes are Jinsoul and Choerry and not Kim Lip, did she maybe loose her powers? 4:31 idk what this thing is called in English but I think it could be a reference to Sleeping Beauty (the roses and the sleeping thing too) OR at first it reminded me of something like, creating your own destiny, 4:51 the lyrics that Jinsoul is singing could match to the concept of her being the villain in the story? Also notice how she does that move and then the others do it too, like a butterfly effect! 5:31 their arms seem more like a Klein Bottle (seen this on Twitter) 6:38 notice how the only ones walking through that thing are, Hyunjin, Gowon and Vivi and in Why Not we get a scene in which it seems that Yeojin was left out, they were all together in the moon, but she’s alone.

Star is my favorite MV after Flip That I love the song (one of my favotites), etheral vibes, costumes, colors and sets used in the mc and especially how usually underappreciated members like Yeojin,Hyunjin,ViVi and Gowon got more attention and lines. The times when Gowon and Yeojin become center I lose I lose my head. Also, Chuu's high note, Choerry's pre chorus, Yves' dance in front of apple tree, Olivia Hye and Heejin's low voices, black hair Jinsoul and blode Kim Lip ... it really is so close to perfect, only missing thing is Haseul. But hey, now we have another gorgeous etheral MV Haseul!

I love this detail. I feel like there could be so theories that relate to this scene but my take on this is that this video appears to be some sort of alternative timeline - Whether it's the dark side of the moon in So What or just the aftermath of So What to Why Not, this does not seem to be the timeline the original Loonaverse has been. Makes sense, since Haseul is also missing. But if in this timeline, the yyxy girls do not escape from Eden then that means that ViVi may have not have been turned into a cyborg and is a member of OEC (explains why Kim Lip isn't seen dancing behind the galaxy background with Jinsoul and Choerry and why she's lost and surrounded by orbs in Why Not). If ViVi is a member of OEC, then this vision might symbolize the girls never uniting in Hi High, hence the empty room because her power may not be speed, which might be essential to the unity of Loona.

Thanks for the frame-by-frame breakdown! I'm not focusing as much on the lore anymore because I don't really have anyone to talk to about them. I just watch the music video because I love the song and it looks so aesthetically pleasing. My favorite was the moon rotation/revolution thing you mentioned. What a really cool detail! About Chuu being HaSeul's reverse--remember how Yeojin was with HaSeul in Hi High and My Melody? And how Chuu mentioned in filming So What that she and GoWon were dressed similarly because their concept was "twins" or "sisters"? Even in Hi High, Go Won and Chuu were wearing white dresses while they opened the gate while Yves and Olivia were in denim shorts. I think Yeojin and GoWon are the younger sisters of the Main Vocal Birds of the Loonaverse (White Bird and Penguin). Anyhoo. I subscribed! remember that scene just like in the thumbnail? that bright thing that looks like a moon, i saw people pointing out that it was a klein bottle. two mobius strip forms up and combine to create a klein bottle, which seems to be a 4d object. 4d specifically is length, breadth, depth and - time (einstein's idea). this also applies to why yeowon were holding their hands together in an odd way. they might be creating a klein bottle - two mobius strip combined, to create loonaverse, since in their world things seems to happen in a time loop. (just like olivia and heejin's meetup)

Things I noticed: 1 - No one except for OEC keeps inside the red circle together at the same time during the coreo. (also, KimLip center) 2 - When Hyunjin is center in the first dance break, there are yellow lights behind them. And in the second the lights are purple. 3 - Now OEC are composed by two girls with dark hair and one blond, the opposite to Girl Front. 4 - KimLip look at herself just like Girl Front 5 - Choerry starts the chain movemment and Hyunjin ends it, both being oppossits 6 - Chuu and Yeojin are oppossites, maybe that's why Gowon is with Yeojin, since they are always paired Gowon-Chuu and Haseul-Yeojin (Gowon and Haseul being opposites too) 7 - By the end of the mv the stars starts getting yellow.

Something I noticed with the black outfits is that kim lip, choerry, yves, olivia hye and gowon have the same dress as they do in the why not teasers, just with shorter skirts. All of the others are similar but not exactly the same. It might just be a case of the company getting lazy with outfits lol

Did anyone noticed at 6:54 when Hyunjin was at the center and it immediately cuts to Choerry, I think it has some type of connection since in the cinema theory, Choerry replaced Hyunjin in the unreleased Love & Live performance video.

for me the scene of heejin opening the door reminds me of the one and only mv the most- "that door is opening baby" lyrics. in that mv the opening of closed doors was used to symbolize escape from the restrictions she was putting on herself and coming into her own. i really like it being reused in the star mv with stars on the other side that symbolize orbits; loona is opening the door for orbits to have that same experience of coming into their most authentic selves.

I wondered if Kim Lip had exchanged her power to go back in time (Kim Lip with the orbs in why not). This exchange would have drawn all his power. Since then she feels lost, but what a connection with the Sleeping Beauty's quenouille? Maybe Olivia Hye will be able to manipulate her into believing that the Loona abandoned her, like Olivia. Will Hyunjin join them after being forgotten on the moon?

only gowon, vivi and yeojin make an appearance in the 'colored room', that has a connection with their hair colors (in yeojin's case, not the color itself but she drastically changed her hair so that counts). not sure what it means, but those 3 are definitely connected in some sort of way

I saw another loona theory that kinda inspired this but what if all of the stuff that we were told in the beginning were lies. We were told and just believed that Heejin is the "God" or Creator of the loonaverse but what if it's someone else working behind the scenes and controlling Heejin? It may be a bit obvious but I think that it's OlHye controlling Heejin in the background. Think about it. When we get to the scene where the two are putting their palms together, only Heejin has the bars behind her, signaling that she is as trapped as Jinsoul was during pre-debut era

4:07 i believe in Olivia’s scene where Yves and Jinsoul is on by her sides is like a demon and angel, there’s this theory that the real villain of the loonaverse is Jinsoul.. iono i read it somewhere in twitter. back in Olivia so u can see Yves on her right, and right means good or postive so Yves is the angel influence of Olivia and as for Jinsoul she’s the evil influence of Olivia [sorry for my bad englishdjsh]

akso another theory.. 5:30 the reason why Yeojin is with Gowon instead of Chuu because Gowon travelled in earth (the flip side of eden) and that is why her hair is in BLUE because if you invert blue it becomes YELLOW and well ig everyone pretty much know abt Gowon’s relationship with Hyunjin

Vivi and Gowon (XY) and then she was eliminated in Eden (cos Olivia k word her?) so Chuu replaced her..? and maybe that’s how Gowon have a contact of Hyunjin (when she was still in OEC) if u know the Gowon and Hyunjin being the bridge theory

In why not Kimlip was floating with orbs in the air casually or not representing oec with green grass , then in the end the same thing occured but with multiple orbs most likely representing loona. The grass was purple, maybe having some connections with choerry. Here, in 3:37 you see kimlip changing to choerry. Something's going on
