oh finally a good explanation... i think they are reversing events that they could not control the first time, so yeah basically saving the world, and that's why kim lips hair is back to her being chosen as a odd girl...so my theory is that odd eye is going to be back, and call the girls, then the eden sub is going to answer the call, and then the 1/3 (now with yeojin, cuz she's the missing piece), then 12 reunited knowing how to save the apocalypse this time, but in the end is not going to be as they expect... yeah in my head loona is basic sailor moon

yes. I think this mv symbolized by the reversing feather. Because of them, there's chaos because the moon imploded. Now they're trying to go back. I see the lyrics are the opposite too. "I'm so badd >:)" (so what, 2020), "I'm not bad, we're just the same" (why not, 2020) edit. I still can't get over abt the "unimportant" girls clip. I personally think Choerry being upside down on a mirror is significant. Her animal is a fruit bat, which hangs upside down, and in Love Cherry Motion, the main point was centred around mirrors and alternate universes.

yea it is significant - when she is upside down it like being on the other side of a plane and suggests she has just travelled from another place. She is also upside down in the purple tree in Love Cherry Motion. I think the most interesting part of that scene is that there is fire on the mirror and i wonder if it is meant to look like the fire is coming through from the other side & she has just escaped

what i also got is like kim lip is wearing a white dress and shes also on a field with purple grass just like in choerry's Love Cherrry Motion. In LCM mv there's a moment where choerry sees a blonde girl with a wite dress blinding her with a mirror and she follows her. Does that mean that why not kim lip is the story before she met choerry in LCM? idk my mind is blown rn XD

i think it was a reference to Cinderella, in the theory i have jinsoul tried to revert the events of so what, going all the way back to hi high (i do believe the moon scene references hi high, and that's why it's reverse, as well as Yeojin being left behind before being found by Haseul and the escene you believed to reference "the first step to the moon" actually references the leap scene in hi high) and this time i think Hyunjin was the one left behind, maybe they were doing some kinda of ritual to ascend to the moon and they had to do it before midnight (referencing the spell of the fairy godmother of cinderella) and somehow Hyunjin didn't manage to get together with them in time, her magic faded out after midnight and she was left behind, she is Cinderella, that's where the shoes come in.

i was thinking the three circles with kim lip represent odd eye circle since at the end they multiple to 12 circles. also if you look closely, one of them has a very slight yellowish color and it's just on one. that could refer to hyunjin being in oec instead of choerry

I thought of a theory; I wonder if they are gonna go full reserve, going back in time, but now with a "new Loona". Like how the Morbius Strip theory goes, YYXY is a darker/mirror version of 1/3, that was the first time loop. Now with So what, we end the music video with the feathers being reversed. Why Not itself sounds like a "poppier" version of So What, so i wonder if the girls are now going back in time, and the next comeback is gonna be a different variation of Butterfly, and the next one after that a darker version(?) of Hi High, that would be the morbius strip all over again but with the whole group. Edit: Thinking a bit more about this reversed loona and time loop theory, i remember that there was another time loop in odd eye circle's Sweet Crazy Love too! Girl Front was a poppy, bubbly song with alot of high energy, and the music video had alot of energetic moments with lots of deeper meaning. However, at the end of the music video of Girl Front, we see this tape recorder that was playing foward, then it stops, and starts playing backwards. What do we get after that? Sweet Crazy Love, a darker, more serious version of Odd Eye Circle. Then again, maybe i'm just overthinking :p pls don't hate on me this is just a theory. Also, thanks for the likes ^^.

@@itsI103194 actually, that’s not a bad theory, it would make sense to have every era be a different reset of the timeline, the hi high era could be the first time the loop resets, which brings us to the butterfly era, where the girls try to break the loop by calling all orbits to help break it, but fail, then resetting again bringing the so what era, where the girls burn the moon along with telling everyone to break the norms of society to break the loop as well, a note is like to make is that the loop doesn’t reset all the way back to the beginning, but only up until the girls unite right before the climax of hi high, why not could be telling us that a) the girls have a little bit of time before the loop resets, or b) the loop is in the process is resetting and the girls can’t do much about it, you look at it either way you want

Is no one gonna talk about Jinsoul being a water bender and how since her animal is a Blue Betta Fish and how the moon controls the earth's tides and stuff, Jinsoul must be very very powerful not to mention the meanings behind the animals, her fish eats other fishes it's put with, IDK is she's a villain per se but she does seem to make situations or things that make her seem so, if there was a devil I'm this loonaverse story I'm for certain it's Jinsoul lol her name alone Jin (Djinn meaning demon) and Soul (as in a soul, so her name means Demon soul or maybe Soul Demon since her animal eats other fish it's around)

Yeah that's true. We can also assume that Jinsoul is slightly evil because her color 'Royal Blue' is a mix of black and blue. Maybe she got that from committing the sin of swallowing the afternoon sun but that could also be BBC's way of telling us that she has a bit of evil in her soul.

One addition, not sure if this is intentional, but when the 12 moons start to spiral, it sort of looks like the analemma of the moon, which is the figure 8 path the moon makes over the course of a year. Which also strongly resembles the shape of a möbius strip.

a few other things i've caught was -choerry hanging upside down as she does often wearing yellow (hyunjin's color) -choerry appearing with yyxy in the grocery store, and gowon with 1/3 on the moon (unit members switch???) -people on twitter were saying at the beginning when jinsoul was in the telephone box it was raining so possible connection to singing in the rain? also i seen on twitter an interview with odd eye circle pre ot12 i believe with jinsoul saying something to the extent of "for example i can be in a unit with hyunjin" so i believe maybe gowon and choerry appearing with different subunits could possibly mean something also great video! i love these types of videos that talk about the lore so much i miss twinfish a lot her theories really got me into loona also edit* i think you're onto something about the 2jin shadow theory because they're wearing black and white and mirroring each other with the dance!

I think the rain was there also to show when exactly time stopped because it is falling in the first phone booth scene but in the flashes towoards the end the rain droplets are frozen and suspended in the air like the apples around vivi. Also u may already know this cos u r also a twinfish stan 🌈💅🏼 but the purple and yellow mirroring eachother on the colour wheel could have something to do with choerry wearing yellow in the mirror realm and how the two girls are mirrors of one another. But does that mean that it was Hyunjin in the center of the fire rather than Choerry? Like how it was possibly Hyunjin flashing the light to Choerry in LCM and Girl Front? Also thinking of how 8 moons were counted and the four girls were dancing in the middle and so counting the moons and the girls would add up to 12? also right before the midnight dancing break Yves kicks the screen and the static is shown and everything goes into reverse, there is a moment similar on the So What MV where a member Kicks the screen and the static shows and the climax of the MV kicks in

The lyrics its important to understand the video, in the first chorous, choerry do a YOHOO!, like a insider vibes haha. 2jin secction its in black and withe, the only moment the world have not colors, and singing about to doing a ritual, like witchs, that can have some connection with ViViD song, and the boring world without colors (and remember the black girl in the begining of that video). This video is the other side of loona lorde, the second chorus its loona 1/3 but with gowon, the opposite again, and in that moment can saw videos of regular people dancing in the street (butterfly era). yep this have a lot of theories

Just a few of my observations... 1) In the scene with Olivia Hye and the car - there is a wolf sticker/logo on the side of the car 2:26 2) In the scene where Kim Lip is ascending 6:20, there is a brief close-up of the feet. You can see clearly that one of her toenails is painted blue and I'm assuming the other one is painted purple to represent Odd Eye Circle Timeline wise, I think what is happening is that we know something went wrong at the end of Hi High. Yes, they were able to assemble but they were not able to move forward in their timeline. In one of the teasers for Butterfly (?), we see GoWon going back in time and making a change which caused a ripple/butterfly effect. The Butterfly era would have less to contribute lore-wise to the Loonaverse but should be viewed as the action of the ripple/butterfly effect. That's when we started seeing the motif of "For all the Loonas around the world" almost as a signal for help. The event of So What is what actually happened as a result of GoWon making a change in the timeline. Instead of making it better, she made it worse and in order to fix the timeline, the Loona girls have to destroy it which is why we see Olivia Hye destroying the moon. In Why Not, we see Olivia Hye acting kind of like a boss in a gang - could be the moon destroying gang she assembled. The events in Why Not are just the aftermath of So What. The theme of Why Not seems to resolve around circles which can hint at reversing a cassette tape/going back in time. We don't see any of the Odd Eye Circle girls together in any of the shots. In fact, we see them trying to use their powers (Choerry with her dimension mirror, JinSoul with her eye and Kim Lip with the orbs doing something) which similar to their mission in Girl Front, they are trying to re-unite the girls (likely so they can go back in time and not leave anyone behind). They were successful in assembling again and did the little dance around the fire to "cast a spell" to go back to a correction timeline as seen in the MV as the orbs circling in the Lover Cherry Motion dimension mirror. The ending of Why Not makes it seem like the girls were successful in leaving this timeline but... Hyunjin somehow got left behind hence the shoe and it looks like she's still on the moon. I'm anticipating if Haseul is back for the next comeback that the lore may focus on getting these 2 members back for OT12. I'm still a little confused on why Kim Lip has those orbs. The field she's in is similar to the Haseul field in Hi High. Maybe Kim Lip is trying to look for her hence the confusion on her face. This might be a stretch but maybe Odd Eye Circle is traversing the dimensions via Choerry's power to look for Haseul and the orbs around Kim Lip would represent her going back to Love Cherry Motion dimension pools. JinSoul in the telephone booth represents calling all the Loonas around the world. I'm very confused with YeoJin though. Why is she by herself in the shopping cart and why is she looking at the moon? She's clearly seen doing the cult dance. Maybe the other girls were able to find her and brought her there. I remember reading someone had mentioned a theory about how there are 2 sets of LOONA girls. The "normal" girls that are on the regular side of the moon and another LOONA on the "dark side of the moon" which I think is super interesting.

I thought about doing a Hi High analysis a couple months before this comeback, but the thing with HaSeul in the Hi High mv, is that she initially appears next to YeoJin in the same looking field we see here in Why Not, but in the beginning and end of Hi High, ONLY YeoJin was shown ALONE staring upwards and RUNNING.

I think OEC is trying to help them correct the timeline but also just like yeojin, hasuel, now Hyunjin she got left behind so they need to have all 12 in order to get them into a new timeline or correct the old one. ☯️ Yin and Yang...also 2jin looks like they in the black and white world b4 Vivid came out. There could multiple universes of the the gurls all 12 videos are versions of themselves. But then again we have a human Vivi and a Android Vivi.

It's so cool to see the lore being discussed again by people, they're clearly still thinking hard about their world they've created and I'm really excited to see what they're going to do next. I thought of a couple of other things to add: * The point dance in the choreo (seen at 5:01, there's a solo shot with Yeojin doing it but I can't find it) is from the Sonatine choreography and represented 1/3 casting a spell so it probably has the same context here. * The girls dancing in reverse around a fire circle is referencing a ritual dance which seems to be commonly associated with Walpurgisnacht, the Pagan festival welcoming Spring. This adds to the spell imagery and also suggests new life in the Loonaverse? * The car at the beginning is drifting in an anti-clockwise direction. * The heavy hints at the reversal of time through a spell make me wonder if we're going to see new subunits soon like a re-examining of the predebut era. Note that we do not see a full group dance once in this video, it is two groups of four; yyxy but with Choerry instead of Gowon and 1/3 with Gowon instead of Heejin.

i’d like to add a bit to the moon dancing scene, in an ancient korean culture, that dance was to bring bountiful harvests, and was named ganggangsullae, or round and round in english, it was a dance primarily preformed by women and was done by jumping around in circles while signing and dancing, which is what the whole video is, just a bit of culture

The Yeojin Solo Dancing Shot appears in "12:00" the first teaser, i thought it was going to appear in the MV too but it didn't, bc i love that part

Also, Chuu is wearing Choerry's diamond earrings (which I'm pretty sure are what Haseul used to shoot her other self in Let Me In). The only difference is she has an earring with three diamonds on the right and only two on the left, while Choerry's had four on each ear. So maybe the diamonds represent the shots they have at fixing things/changing the past/saving the world/idk?

do the colored smoke not mean anything? it appeared initially in sweet crazy love and we had not seen it since. gowon is seen playing with the blue smoke, like jinsoul was in the oec era, and then we see a quick flash of yellow or orange smoke, most likely referring to hyunjin oof referring to anything at all. Also I thought the last black converse reversed shot was a reference to Hi High since every girl there was wearing white converse, but it might just be an ad. And idk why they added that clip of hyunjin missing a shoe but it’s too random not to be part of the lore

i feel like gowon can manifest a hurricane. we all know that rain is mostly associated to haseul and jinsoul who are represented by green and blue colors. gowon's color, eden green, is a mix of blue and green, which are jinsoul and haseul's colors.

There's also the "hurricane" lyric in butterfly. "It starts with a small flap Now, inside my heart, a hurricane Been been there" She probably caused this small "flap" and created a ripple which went on to be a hurricane [butterfly effect] This probably won't make sense but then again it's the loonaverse.

Chuu's scene has a car filled with floral decals and you can see the words "POWER" and "LOVE" which pretty much means the Flower Power era in the 1960's. In 1966, Leonid meteor shower, the greatest Meteor Storm ever recorded with 40 meteors per second lasting for 15 minutes happened. In So What, Heejin was looking up at the meteor shower in the sky. In Why Not, there were meteors crashing in her scene and also streaks of lightning which could mean a Storm. Another event that happened in the 60's decade is the Apollo 11 mission: the first moon landing in 1969 which is pretty much obvious since the teaser with 12:00 audio came out.

i feel like this has more to do with the mobius strip than we realize...in order to get back to the starting point on a mobius strip, you have to go around the loop twice, and the second loop ends up being on the opposite (or mirrored) plane of the strip... what if the so what video was them reaching the end of the first loop and this video is supposed to represent them entering into the mirrored plane and making their way back to the beginning? that could explain why hyunjin and yeojin were both on the moon but also on earth looking up at the moon, we were seeing two versions of them?? it would also explain why so many of the shots in this video are alternate versions of what already happened in previous videos, the events are happening at the same point on the loop but on the opposite plane

I’ve seen a lot of theories on them going back in time and resetting the timeline. Gowon caused a ripple effect or a ‘Butterfly Effect’ in butterfly in the teasers which lead on to So What having a bad ending and Why Not shows the chaos but now we’re moving in to a good ending and there’s possibly unit changes in the future with them resetting the timeline. Choerry and Gowon have been seen dancing with a different unit. In the description of Why Not, there’s something on them finding themself and their true role so it’s possible Choerry might not actually be in OEC (cherry on the cake in LCM might’ve been for Hyunjin), Gowon might belong in 1/3 and Hyunjin in OEC since OEC would be the primary colors. I was thinking about jinsoul's tattoos from mmt behind because there are cherry and some represent 3 moons (maybe oec?). I guess jinsoul was on a telephone box to call vivi because you can see from eily there was one missed call on vivi's phone. By using cherry, jinsoul teleported to the place vivi made her video message. they finally met in einy. But i'm still confused what will jinsoul do after that. I might be wrong but im pretty sure that the shoe color the girls are wearing represent the timeline/universe they are currently in. Black is the old time line and white is the new one. We can see that in the scene when yeojin is looking at the unburned moon and chuu is looking at the now burned moon, they are wearing black shoes, which means in those scenes the rewind has not happend yet, we can also see them when yyy is dancing alongside choerry. Now yeojin is also in this same place that yyy and choerry, but she is not with them, that's because the market place shes in is now in the new universe. Theres a big focus in here on her shoes, which are white. Also stuff is just floating around. Which makes me believe that either: 1) The universe got altered because of the changes. 2) Time is currently stopped because of the rewind. Maybe, somehow kimlip time travel powers are being used, since the scene reminds me a lot of eclipse lighting. The same happens in the scene with yves and vivi. They are both wearing white shoes here (which means they are in the new timeline) and theres red lighting inside the cars. Maybe the cars can be used to travel in time? Perhaps Vivi is using them for that? We can see that Gowon smokes is first blue, but in the final scenes it changes to yellow, maybe she took hyunjin place now in this new timeline? It is also possible that the girls combined atributtes in some form, as we can see in the scene where they are color splashing (making it possible for them to use kimlip powers). Kimlip is barefoot in her scene, meaning she's in the LCM universe. She has the power of time travel, but at the end, after looking confused, she dissapears and we see the 12 moons orbiting around, the 12 girls are affected by her power. In the 2jin scene (which has black frames, meaning its more like an overview of everything i think?) We can see hyunjin wearing the new timeline color, while heejin wears black. Hyunjin went to the new timeline, but somehow Heejin helped her have connections to the old one too? At the end we can see hyunjin wearing a fully blue outfit and gowon's butterfly. Maybe resembling the butterfly effect that happend and the fact she took Gowons place. All of this ends on her having acces to the old and new timeline (b&w converse shoe) and the LCM universe (bareefoot). Idk, maybe the shoewear have nothing to do so, but I feel that theres really something on to them considering all the focus that have been given to them.

my take on the mv - i think that jinsoul being in the telephone box with the red light, and her being able to stop time (manipulation of time being a power that is normally associated with kimlip) probably means something. - maybe Hyunjin’s line “take it to the left, take it to the right” is a reference to the light on the moon flashing earlier on in the mv (right after olivia’s car scene). since hyunjin and heejin are wearing black and white suits maybe they could be imitating the moon? - maybe the 8 moons surrounding hyunjin, yeojin, vivi, and gowon might be a reference to the other 8 girls? And note that the choreography that they do for that part is actually for the final chorus rather then that specific part in the song. - in chuu’s 2nd scene with the car, white petals are blowing past her, maybe they are similar petals to haseul and yeojin’s scene in hi high? note that haseul was the 3rd member to be introduced and chuu was the 3rd-to-last member to be introduced.

Y'all noticed how the burning moon in Chuu's scene got smaller? Was that some kind of mistake or a reference that the events of So What are reversing? Also, I wonder if the members are spread out between realms in this video or if they keep missing each other due to bad timing. Cause Yeojin was at the same place as Yves, Chuu, Choerry, Olivia Hye, but the stores lighting was very different so is she in a different dimension then? Her world also has a moon in it while the 'So What' world's moon is on fire. She's still lost right? Same deal with Vivi. THOUGHTS on HYUNJIN's MISSING SHOE : - There is butterfly which implies the butterfly effect - Hyunjin's shoe is not theoretically missing, but there are 2 Hyunjins that collide together. Girl Front has rewinding tapes (spinning circles) signifying a rewinding of time. Both are mirrored in this video. Note, the rain is shown to freeze in motion in Jinsoul's phone booth shot. We also see suspended paint cans in Yeojins shopping cart shot, implying time is paused before the reverse. There was also a flash of old timey, vhs style static when Yves kicked the screen. Static was used for some of the butterfly teasers, iirc, and was theorized to show a change between worlds? Might also be linked to the Rain 51db video.

I believe that all the scenes before the second chorus (when it shows midnight on the clock) are the destruction of Earth bc of the moon falling. That's why after they are on moon and Yeojin seems to be in a devastated place (the Earth). Of course Cherry is upside down cause she is on the other side. Also I think that they are starting to go back at the end of the MV cause the meet of all the worlds (eden, Odd, Earth) creates an imbalance and the break of the Mobius Strip. And as a comparison of Hi High Gowon smoke is now blue, Chuu seems to be at the same place of Haseul (Clothes, petals, field, car and of course the plane) and Kim Lip scene reminds me the second verse with Choerry, Jinsoul and her around Olivia.

A theory of Mine: The girls were trying to revert the events in So What to avoid destroying the Moon, so they made a ritual to go to the past (That explains why before the MV started the Moon that appears in their logo is backwards with a black background foreshadowing that something bad is gonna happened) but they fail and end up traveling thru more time resulting in all of the events that happened in the previous MVs were erased, Yeojin is lost again since Haseul found her in High Hi, the Moon once again is incomplete due to the fact that they haven't met up yet

I agree with alot of the theories about time/dimension manipulation with OEC. Choerry's inverted and mirrored angle, the rain/snow slowing down with Jinsoul and general reverse footage. With time reversing this could mean that yyxy never left Eden. For instance, when Vivi gets to the car location, Yves is already gone and the only thing left are the crazy amount of apples she ate/threw away in the new MV. This could also mean that Chuu and GoWon never got a red apple either. Perhaps Go Won not descending/falling to Earth but maybe is actually ascending back to Eden. With Olivia they reused similar imagery from Egoist, the wolf and the red eyes, before she joined the rest of the Loona. And let's face it, Olivia was the one who set the moon on fire in so what, so the would need to stop her from doing so. Now, my theory for 1/3 is bit out there. If everyone in 1/3 are 'normal' people, maybe their memories should have been wiped. But Hyunjin's is back on Earth but her shoe was left back on the moon and a butterfly appears at the end which could signify that she remembers all the events. If so maybe she'll be part of OEC instead of Choerry in this new world. Or maybe this could be an alternative Hyujin (dark Moon) since she was originally wearing all white with Heejin, but she's the only one to with black shoes at the end. Lastly, Yeojin looks like she's also back on Earth, but notice that she has similar gems on her face very similar to Heejin? Could they be the same person where Yeojin be a younger version of Heejin that was caused by the time manipulation? The gems on Yeojin are only on when she's alone on earth, not when's she's in the supermarket.
