The coordinates are longitude and latitude, which is different from the default format Google uses. If you put them into a search tool that uses that system, the coordinates point to a location in Kazakhstan. It's probably just a reference to Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, which was set in the region. Similar coordinates were on the Eidolon character skin you got from completing the tower of babel in BFV.

From what I'd seen, the running animations lacked weight camera movements unlike the BF3,4, 5, 1, and Hardline.

@Luisml8 Video game isn't real life. That's why guns and vehicles are balanced as they are, not how they perform in reality. Suppression is a real thing. It's knowing there's chance you might get unlucky bullet to the dome so dive for cover. Massive amount of rounds to an area and the enemy isn't moving. In gaming it's been tested and found to be a bad mechanic. Flinching when you get shot, now that's a better mechanic. Dumping 200 rounds down a hallway while lying on top of an ammo box isn't fun.

Something that stands out to me is that the infantryman on the left side of much of the footage looks like a Royal Marine. Helmet, boots, belt kit etc, and the RM started using an AR-15 derivative. If the NATO faction is almost mixed it'd be reminiscent of Euro Forces.

One thing I noticed was the camo/helmets the players team is wearing, they're British, the camo being worn isn't multicam, its MTP (British camo) maybe hinting at multiple nations in game, with the US Abrams and British forces

the M4 Carbine is the first iteration, derived from the M16A2, uses the 3 round burst and has a short M16A2 handguard. It first had fixed carry handle sights but later models after the introduction of the M4A1 all allow removable carry handles. M4A1 is the 2nd, uses full auto and is the first variant of the carbine to use a removable carry handle sights which then became the standard for all M4 variants. It is heavier than the M4 Carbine. Both of these carbines can be fitted with a rail adapter system to allow for attachments.

I live in Toronto. About 10 blocks from city hall. That would be absolutely insane if they had a portion of the campaign here, or even a map in multiplayer. Having a battle out front of city hall from university avenue to Yonge street along queen street, with the US consulate right there. You could even have a bit of Operation Metro level design with the subway station that connects to the PATH and Eaton Centre Mall. Please DICE. Please make it happen.

I agree with that. Yea , we had lots of players, but it didn't feel very war like. When the map was so big. That it spread out the player base in different areas. It was like small skermish battles everywhere. Not big battles. With tons of people in 1 area. Just going from point a to point b with no one defending. Since everyone was on point c far away. It was like 5 dudes defending against 60 players. While your teams 60 players was attacking point c. With no defenders. I like medium to small maps.

What are yalls thoughts on the new experience, being like medal of honor? Where players can fight for a different country in Nato of their choice and the chosen countries will get rewarded and help those countries. That will then help pave the road for the next games story. No specialists, just a character that is from that country and that countries weaponry.

I hate that idea. Medal of Honor Warfighter was terrible and it killed the entire franchise. I don’t want that operator shit in battlefield. It may work in Rainbow Six Seige and COD, but this is battlefield. I don’t want a bunch of special ops forces skins. If there’s customization I want to grounded shit that fits in with the large scale battle. I’m cool with face paint, ability to mix your pants and top camo, maybe even some wear and tear in the uniforms, ability to choose helmet, face coverings, but all within grounded reality. I definitely don’t want cheesy operators like here is your JTF2 guy, here is your SAS guy, etc. that shit is whack.

I know it’s a little thing, but the way the character holds the fore grip irks me. It’s a bit old school to wrap your thumb around the grip instead of raising it up, either straight up or wrapping it over the top. Another example would be in 2042 where they had a very upright shooting stance, they were also a bit bladed to the target. Sure people still do those things, but it would be nice to see modern soldiers employing modern stances and grips. I also hope that they increased the fidelity of their reload animations. MW 2019 has set the standard and I can’t think of another AAA game that has matched it.

Something I noticed in that trailer is the shot of the BF4 Flood Zone map gameplay. The green net on the scaffolding is solid. In bf4 it is see through. Is that an updated version for portal maybe?
