I don't think you can. I made a huge Star Destroyer village, but when I broke the support away, nothing happened. It never went up or down. I was expecting to have to add or remove balloons, but it didn't budge. And I think that's because it had a village square in it. Though I also had a huge ship I made do the same thing. It just became locked in position. I broke the last thing I added before it happened - a simple chest in one of the cabins - and it immediately became a live object again

Be careful storing anything in chests on a vehicle. The loot in my chest disappeared and I've been seeing plenty of posts about it online.

Hey kaz, so I noticed that on the hauler vehicle you only used turntable wheels. You need to have 2 turntable wheels on the front and 4 on the back to actually move forward. If you change that and add a few thrusters you should be good. But for traveling long distances like you are trying to do I would recommend using an airship with steering wheel to have 3 separate thrusters so you can turn different directions.

exactly there is no way you can actually use these prefab vehicles to move your resources or even travel long distances as it starts breaking and get stuck . Airship is way better if you want to travel or move resources . def need a custom build to actually get these vehicles to work

Driving air ship is so convenient now with the 1-2-3 controls from the steering wheel. Don't need Power Cells either. Vehicles are fun, but not practical.

The reason ur vehicle failed so badly is because some of your wheels were going in the wrong direction. If you go up to them then you can click on it to change the direction. You have to make sure that all the wheels on one side are purple and all the wheels on the other side are blue. Plz see this Kaz cuz that was hard to watch lol

They need to really improve vehicles, so they can actually go up hills. It’s like driving on ice with slicks on 😂 Seem to spend so much time repairing too. Think flying is the way to move around.

Try just adding a seat, wheels, and a power unit to make that platform into a vehicle. Then you get the 1,2,3 channels. Then you can add thrusters and assign thrusters with the wrench to go forward on channel 1, left on 2, and then right on three. Then just fly your way to the base like your first plan, and less power cell usage. (Just remember you press that same channel again to turn off the thrusters on that channel)

Get a villager as a chef with a juicer and it gives you stacks of slurp and slap juice and if you put it in the bin it makes a lot of biomass

I have been using the same air transport for the past 3 months. The key is not to land and not to add too many thrusters. Keep it up in the sky and build launchers to get to it. My speed boat has been doing great as well 😊

My shore village is a little far. I have a launch pad tower line to it. So i decided to use vehicles to and from it. After just driving around in a custom build from another yt player i figured i need to clear the path. I do like keeping it as untouched as possible. So i mainly cleared out all the pebbles and twigs. I also cleared some of the bushes. It takes just under a full power cell to go back and forth.

I had the same feeling about those vehicles when they got added, but I built a flying machine using thrusters and some space and I used channels to control each foster for every task. I think it’s way better so I guess just abandon the idea of a vehicle you have to just make a battery for it, it ends up so quickly

I used the middle sized vehicle. Did one trip kinda sketchy but successful. On the second trip it got stuck under a tree. While I was breaking the tree, it rolled into the river and I could not get it out. I tried everything, fishing rod, balloons. Nothing worked. I was able to use builds and fishing rod to get it to a spot where I could at least empty my chests and break the car. So I recovered my mats at least. But yeah, it was super frustrating.

I've been using Slapberry seeds for biomass. Works really well. I have a big plot that gets me 300 or so berries so that 600 seeds. When you put 50 in the composter you get 50 biomass. I have a room dedicated to composters and put 50 in each. By the time I've picked and got the seeds out of the new batch the composters are finished. I assign my villagers to smelt and get the glass needed for the batteries.

I love the new cars I have been making custom ones and driving them around my single player world, and it has been something to grind to get and make all the things because it was newly made. Love the content. Keep it up ❤

The blueprint vehicles are gash. You can make much better. But you used 6 of the steerable wheels. They don't seem to have the grip the regular powered wheels have. I just make flying trucks.You only need to drive them to find a place with enough room to take off, cus you only get 3 channels, so if you want to be able to turn left and right, you only have one channel left for the lift thrusters and the forward thrusters, so you take off at an angle. I think adding a switch, should add an extra channel, and there should be a switch that stays on. Then you could take off vertically and still have three channels for forward, left, and right.

Bro used ONLY turnable wheels and complained about the prebuilt cars. They're not supposed to be like that lol (also some might have been going the wrong way). You could try just building the prebuilt and add thrusters. 'Kaboom 2084' is one guy who made simple improvements on the prebuilt cars in a video titled ""Motorcycle, FatBoy, & Improvements" LEGO Fortnite v29.10" You could also just build a simple flying platform with 3 different thrusters like everyone else is saying BTW there are some sick custom vehicles people have built already that are great, there is one (not for storage) that is called "FatBoy" made by 'Kaboom 2084' which is one of my favorites so far.

You can make a flying machine by placing a dynamic foundation then adding balloons and a driver seat, then add a small thruster on each side and a large one on the back, then use a wrench to change the buttons you use to activate the side boosters.

Make a speeder plane ……… biggest vehicle platform then the skinny longer one in front …….. 2 large thrusters on back set to one channel ……. One small thruster on each side of the very front each set to its own channel (with the wrench) ……. Then just small ballons on the corners ………. You land by stacking big wood foundations on it 😁………. And by land i mean get close to the ground …..NOT on the ground lol…… build a ladder or something to get back on

I put the health magic essence on sword so when I'm farming I get food and the food I get goes straight into the compost bin and it has made me STACKS of biomass. I use the vehicle on the little path they have to go up hills and it has been easier

I'm farming slap Berry seeds and they do pretty well I have 20 of them just to make 40 seeds and 10 for each of my 4 composts. It goes pretty well and you don't have to refill the berry's they just grow every 5 mins or so non stop supply. Only thing is I hate how much soil and fertiliser also gets made and I'm almost full collecting it I feel like they should make it also be able to go back through or something cause it's way to much when really we all doing it for the bio so they should fix the ratios

basically, build 5 dynamic playforms in a cross shape connected to each other. the center one build a chest in a middle with a small roof right above it. balloons on any opposite dynamic platforms. the third balloon goes above the chest in the center piece. dang it dude let me send you a pic of it, this shit is clutch af
