One thing I wish this video would have highlighted is the Downtown North development that will hopefully bring some great shopping and dining options in the area. The town is also beginning to plan a "River District" that will run the length of the Neuse River on Knightdale's side of town. Depending on where you are in Knightdale, you can be very close to all of the growth occurring in Wendell Falls. There is also an amazing playground at Knightdale Station Park and they do lots of family friendly events at the park there. Also- you mention that the commute to RTP makes this area a place most wouldn't consider- but you might want to state the actual commute times. A lot of people coming from other parts of the country might think nothing of a 30-45 min commute if the trade off is a larger, newer home (I mean look at how many people are moving to Clayton...). We moved here 6 months ago and are loving the small town vibe but Close proximity to everything Raleigh has to offer. The growth potential is great and the town is awesome about getting citizen's feedback. Also a Thales academy is located in Knightdale Station and has received rave reviews.
