Hi Vanessa! Thanks a lot for sharing your prengancy journey. Similar to you, riding motorcycles is my life and profession - including riding in South Africa and the Himalayas. We are currently planning to become pregnant, and I've been worried about the ability to ride motorcycles in the first trimester as I have a few important ride events coming up. My key take aways from your video are: (1) continue doing what your body is used to, it's a personal journey, (2) riding a motorcycle is fine but listen to your body, (3) keep being active. Congratulations on your pregnancy and your openness on such a personal matter! I completely agree with you on that every pregnancy is unique and personal, but I'd like to comment on our experience: My wife was very active during her pregnancies of our three very healthy children, not riding a motorcycle but horseback riding. So, I wish you the best!

I think this is an extremely useful piece of video and information, Vanessa! I'm not one of those equipped with a womb (I do carry a serious Buddha-belly, but only because I ingested something totally different than you did). I can easily imagine women being on the look out for information during pregnancy - what to do, what not to do etc - and that it's important to actually really listen to your body and what it can do and want to do, and what it absolutely don't want to do. I hope your last weeks will be pleasurable, and that you get to deliver before Xmas, I predict the 13th of December, so that all of you can be home when the big holiday comes.

Thank you Vanessa 🤗 I really needed this video. I'm surrounded by many women who stopped riding motorcycles when they became pregnant. I know from the beginning that, one day, it is not an option for me. like you, I spend a lot of time on the bike, competing, training... suddenly stopping because of the opinion of the socitey doesn't sound logical to me. thank you for showing that it is possible, that you should listen to your body and decide for yourself

Great content, my rode pillion up to 8 months at 7 months we did a great weekend away, travelling over 500 miles in one day (must admit it was on a 1500 Goldwing 😊)

@@TheGirlOnABike The Bike was great as you said a travelling sofa, but the camping was a bit much, especially with someone pressing on my bladder, but not to worry, every time I was woken up, I just had to wake up hubby to let him know and to "GET OUT OF THE BLOODY TENT" to assist his glowing wife! As side not, we then got a Flexit sidecar fitted to wing and our daughter was able to come along for the rides and camping at 8 months,

What you said about listening to your body when pregnant doesn't surprise me one bit. I am a male with health issues, and I found that I also must listen to my body or pay the price. This of course makes understanding what your saying so much easier.
