It is a real shame what is happening with KTM at the moment. I like to say Sarah Lezito inspired me to get a new Husqvarna after a long break from bikes But Vanessa and her adventures made me want to ride more and more, so I ordered a new 2025 KTM Adventure R. What should have been 4 to 6 weeks might now be 8 months to 2026! I have cancelled my order in case KTM folds up

Interesting piece of kit. One thing though, if you use your vehicle to tow a caravan DO NOT PUT GREASE ON THE TOWBALL. Caravan hitches have an anti sway braking system that has small brake pads that operate on the ball.

I got hit while road cycling. I was approaching a T intersection and I always check if I have the green light, I did. There was also 9 seconds to go on the pedestrian walk. I was good to go, so I thought. That's all I remember until I woke up and I was being loaded into the ambulance. I was lucky, I was told my head broke the lady's windshield as I kept going and put a digit in a guys car hood, I then flopped onto the ground, knocked out. I don' remember any of it. The cop told me later the lady tried to blame me because I was on a bike! I had the right of way. I was lucky, no broken bones, a few bruises. She NEVER admitted fault. I had crashed many times before, so what I think happened is I probably knew I was going to get hit and I went limp and just went with the flow. I've been extremely lucky andI can only imagine what you have gone through.

I was riding a Suzuki 250 dirt bike coming back to my house after painting my sister’s house and I ran over a chunk of asphalt in the street. I bashed my head on the curb and had two black eyes for a few days. Not wearing a helmet. Since then I’ve been a little scared to get back onto a bike again but I think I’ll try it out. Helmet yes. I want a ninja that can get up onto the freeway. I know I can ride one. It’s just that old fear that makes me reluctant. 😮
