Let’s not forget that rukia did give half of her power to ichigo but she mainly awakened his. She didn’t try to give half of her power ichigo took it by accident 1 because he can’t control spirit energy at all til way later and 2 because his natural spirit energy is just huge and like a flowing sinking that’s not turned off.

Wrong, Rukia tried to give ichigo only half of her powers, however he took almost all due to his massive reiryoku, not his lack of control over his rietsu. Even while giving the sink analogy uryu realized he was wrong about ichigos rietsu being on full blast all the time, and that ichigos reiryoku is so massive that what he initially thought was always flowing on high, was actually just the overflow.

There are a lot of errors in this, but good video regardless. Ichigo didn't beat Renji because of his hollow powers, the hollow mask that kept manifesting in his clothing partially blocked Renji's last strike. He didn't access his hollow power until it forcefully took over in the fight with Byakuya.

Only time in anime were telling your opponent about your abilities was a good thing(very recent exception made for JJK i.e. "Showing your Hand"). Great video, did spot a few errors though: 1) Renji was in the 6th division by the time he met Ichigo. He was in the 11th and before that the 5th, but Yachiru was the 11th Lieutenant. 2) Grimmjow did not die. He is one of 2 Espada to survive. 3) I'm pretty sure Gin's name is with a hard G. 4) Espada 5 is named Nnoitra. Gilga is his family name.

I remember in the epsiode where ichigo gets his powers for the first time and we see his zanpakto, ryukia tells ichigo that the size of ones zanpakto respresents the power that the holder posseses, and ichigo's zanpakto is one of the biggest zanpaktos she remembers ever seeing. I loved this. Thanks for the recap its been years if not like an entire decade so everything was sort of a blur and i couldnt remember timeline wise when certain things had happened. This show just had so many different plots happening all the time all at once so i needed a refresher lol.

Few in accuracies I've found in your recap 1) it's not a couple of lieutenants, it's the lieutenant and captain of the 6th division. 2) as above Renji isn't of the 11th division (he was but he transferred to the 6th division after he transferred from the 5th division to the 11th to be close to the captain of the 6th division, he also never got past the 6th seat of the 11th division)

Just fyi, Ichigo didn’t necessarily hollowify. His Shinigami and Hollow powers are inherently linked together. Which is why Ichigos zanpakto is just hollow ichigo.

I feel like you're very biased on arrancar arc. 1. Ichigo was mental nerfed when fighting grimmjow because orihime was terrified of his hollow powers. When she screamed out to him took away that mental nerf by letting him know she wasn't afraid. 2. Ulquiorra was the strongest Espada. He said no one was aware of his second transformation and he was the only Espada who discovered a second one. Aizen probably knew but his rank was based on one transformation not 2. 3. Ichigos full hollow transformation is one of the most badass things that happened on bleach. Bro stop being biased lol

I think I somehow missed the part where Rukia was weakened by the hogyoku, leading the beginning of the anime series to make way more sense. I disagree with your take that the Arrancar arc sucks though. The Arrancar arc had a lot links with depression, which I thought was neat. Ichigo was struggling against White Zetsu being within him, so that was why he was so hesitant to use the vizard mask
