Hi Erika and Ricky, thank you for your wonderful show..I just want to say to people walking the Camino to not get too caught up in the rules.Rules have their place but common sense is equally important… Thst you are walking your Camino is the most important thing…it’s personal whether you send your heavier gear ahead or not it is your decision…walk your own Camino…your Camino your choice…Please let us not become to bogged down and bothered about too many rules…it would destroy the spirit of the Camino…after all the rules around COVID have been lifted…let us be free we don’t need to micro managed the Camino…that would be soul destroying…Walk your own way your way! I walked the Camino Frances in 2016. I am planning to return this August/September… Love, love you two beautiful, helpful souls ❣️😇❣️😇

Hello Joseph from Indiana again, I’ll be walking the Camino del Norte starting April 29, 2025. Two years ago I walked the Camino Frances, and I really appreciate the information that you provided back then.

Two years ago I walked the Norte from San Sebastián to Bilbo, over 157 km but when I went to the office in Santiago and they told me the last 25 km had to be the end of the Camino. It worked out for me because it made me want to do another Camino. I start my new Camino Frances April 22😊

I was working during the Live so I am now watching the video. My wife and I are planning on walking the last 100 km of the French Way (starting at Sarria). We plan to do it with a group of friends in October 2025. My wife and I live in Texas, USA.

Let's start new trend. To avoid crowds and problems created by them for pilgrims we should promote an idea to do the Camino not more often than once for few years. To do the Camino every year or even few times a year is little bit "insane". Let's allow to do the Camino once in lifetime or every 5-10 years but in quiet conditions. Let's not be selfish and allow other people to experience the spirit of Camino not queueing to albergues. This is my thought after my Camino in 2024, 16 years after the previous one.

Interesting point, it make a lot of sense but hard to convince people who are addicted to it (like us 🤩🥰😎).

Thank you both for all the information 🙂 I'm from Colombia and I'm walking Camino Francés on May. I was wondering how far in advance should I make my reservation at the albergues? Also, could you share the list of albergues of Camino Frances please? And last but not least, I've watched the video about overpacking and I was wonderind if you could give some advices about the clothes that, we as women, should pack, please. Thank you in advance and wishing you Buen Camino 🙂🌄

Looks like I’m walking the Camino Primitivo in May, and then the Frances in July. Can you post a link of your quilt? I was going to look for a silk sleeping bag liner, due to the heat in July. Do you have any links to something durable?

This is the quilt we are using this year: zpacks.com/products/summer-quilt-winter-liner?aff=185 Last year we tried this from sea to summit that can be better for you in July: app.rockporch.com/prdlink/NYha75I4sp

I dont think there is a chance that on my next Camino(s) of San Salvador and Primitivo that I will be able to get 2 stamps a day EVERY day. Some days there are ZERO places to get them apart from your albergue/hotel. Also if you are staying in private accommodation they often don't have any stamp. On certain stages there are no cafes/restaurants to get any stamps. On the other hand I don't believe that the officials are going to deny anyone who obviously has walked 100's of km's on their Camino
