Where would you recommend off-campus? This will be my first year so like you said I’m unfamiliar with Tally since I’m from soflo, but would like to know for next year!

I really liked the BLVD ($400-$600), seminole grand is a p BAD neighborhood but its cheap ($400 i think), university village ($400-$600 i think) is okay but mainenance sucks from what ive heard, and ofc anything close to campus is gonna be $600-$1k (copeland, the quantum, the nine, the standard) all these are v nice. i def recommend securing a spot ASAP bc apts close to campus fill up super fast!

Where did you live OFF campus

if you hate dorming first semester , can you not do it 2nd semester or are u stuck for the full year
@emilycollins30125 жыл бұрын
i really want to but i don’t think my mom would think it was cheaper for some reason even if it was
@onlypamcakes5 жыл бұрын
Trust me, I tried my best to get out of it but you're stuck with it. The dorm contract you sign is for Fall+Spring so you have to pay for the rent both semesters.

I am incoming freshman and just got the a dorm in Salley East and I am considering off campus instead. Where did you live off campus that you would reccomend
@onlypamcakes3 жыл бұрын
depending on you budget some nice places are the BLVD, players club, polo club (low-mid $) ; aqua club+seminole grand (lowww $) ; and stadium centre, stadium enclave, 601 copeland (high $) . I would definitely suggest calling + touring ASAP bc places are filling up fast asf! i made another video about dorming on campus, i think its good to make friends but yeahhh salley isnt the best dorm haul so i think considering both is good, just be careful what your contracts say!

Where would u recommend a place to rent that is walking distance off campus?
@onlypamcakes4 жыл бұрын
there are several options: the nine, university village, the quantum, copeland... ive never lived at these places so i cant attest to management, environment, etc. however, i would look into a place that is close to your school. if youre in the school of social sciences, living close to the pyschology dept wont do you any good unless youre okay with walking twenty+ minutes to get to class. also, keep in mind that the closer you are to campus, the more expensive it is.

Does the $700 dollars a month include the water and electric bill?
@onlypamcakes4 жыл бұрын
yes, with money left over lol it definitely depends where you live but thatll be more than enough in several places

@@onlypamcakes does it cover wifi also or would that be considered electricity lmao

I have a question, when I want to go to college I want to be social and meet new people so to do that do you prefer on campus or off campus living?
@onlypamcakes4 жыл бұрын
Everyone that goes to college is looking for that exact same thing, so no matter what you choose if you put yourself out there then you will definitely succeed in that! I met one of my best friends my freshman year through our dorm and I met another one of my best friends this past year even though she lived off campus (:
