In this video I go over everything you need to know about Fortnite's new Reload mode. This is a mini battle royale mode that allows players to respawn after time if they still have teammates like Warzones Resurgence mode. There’s AI but it seems to be a very low number or only in some matches. I saw one in about 20 matches, then I saw Zemie and Replays encounter some.

This brought me back to Fortnite after quitting 3 days into this season lol. I’m having so much fun, but it’s stressful in the endgame because I have to worry about what my randoms are doing. I think this mode can be even better if duos was an option. Solos will never be an option because that will kill the BR

Apparently Epic added a duos option to the files, but it's just not implemented yet. Maybe after their summer break.

I was playing this game mode today, and I definitely think it’s a nice change. If you’re sick of the regular battle royal, this is great for switching it up. I like that - the map is different - the map is small - there’s new weapons (or recurring) - you get rebooted automatically without your team doing anything - the cars are not at all part of this mode - the feel of this mode is more classic Fortnite (architecture, etc) - there’s only 40 people per map - quests help you level up fast ( I leveled up 10 or more levels within a few hours) Overall, I really like this mode. I haven’t played with my friends yet, but playing with random people to see what it is about was fun

Personally, I'm stoked for this mode. I play more rapid 2v2s than BR, and a game mode that is fast paced with more interactions sounds very appealing because BR and ranked is just too slow for me sometimes. If I only have 2 hours to play after work, I don't want to spend half of it in queue and the other half in a sweaty ranked match where I am chasing (and sometimes running) the entire match. Reload is going to be very refreshing for the FN community.

At first I didn’t enjoy this mode, but I then played with some friends and enjoyed it so much more. I love that there seems to be no bots so it feels so much more social in the lobby which I love. I like that I can just reboot myself when my friends are in a fight! I’d like to see you post videos with this mode too :)

Tilted Towers, Pleasant Park, and Retail Row are exactly how I remember them in Chapter One. But the others are different takes on old locations. Unless they are actually Chapter Two locations. In that case I wouldn't recognize them because I didn't play in Chapter Two.

I played a few games with my normal squad peeps and we had a lot of fun and won a few games. I wouldn’t mind seeing your tips and tricks style videos for this mode because I do see this being part of my rotation now, especially when I play with my friends and not randoms. Stuff like loadout tips, flow strategies and such since I kind of have to change my mindset just a little for this mode.

I had an entire round in retail row and it was so fun! We lost but it was still fun, there was this one building we started at and died at and it was in shambles because every squad had a battle there at least once

One of my friends I played with hated Reload when we tried it. He hates most OG stuff. Mostly because most of the guns don't have sights and they also have bloom. And plus the chaos of this mode was just Not for him. lol. I liked it alright though. lol.

OG is doo doo butter. The guns are insanely inaccurate you basically have to stand still and crouch just to hit anything.

tbh i dont like the no scope+bloom weapons there but id definitely love to see u make content on this mode. i feel like a weapons tier list + tips n tricks would be good, and maybe sprinkle in some gameplay. i don't think spectating players would be that great, since they'll just keep dying

Maybe it's a dumb question, but how would it work in solos, though? The whole point of the mode seems to revolve around your team staying alive long enough to allow you to respawn.

yeah really enjoyed it, even though i play exclusively solos, i did play this with fill on, and it was pretty good. I'm not sure if i play it long term though, most likely dip in and out of it, as i still prefer solo game modes. I did not play warzone rebirth so I am not biased and I am not nostalgic for the og map. I found this mode to be fun. I played it twice with a squad of random and I won at the second attempt. I only ever play zero build so I enjoy that there is an option for it.

I'm glad there is 100% chest spawn rate. I can't think of anything bad about this mode. I dont think the wins count on your career stats, but I'm okay with it.

This new mode is awesome. I haven't been able to play it too much (about 10 games) because it launched rather late in the day for me. No Cars and no Nitro Fists, so it feels more like Fortnite than the current season. Though it is funny the amount of times I reflexively try to get into a car only to be reminded you can't drive them lol. I've been doing mostly no-fill squads. I've been struggling trying to figure out the weapon meta, but all the weapons feel good. I don't think this game mode has SBMM because I run into a combination of people who don't know what they are doing (but not bots), and people who just fry me instantly. Though this could just be the effect of no-fills. Thus far I have only tried the Zero Build mode of Reload. I wanna get familiar with the loot and map before adding the additional struggle of the building mechanic (I'm new to builds). I am really enjoying this mode and will probably spend all of tomorrow playing it. Right now I am looking at the player count for the various modes, and it goes like this 8:00pm eastern: Battle Royal 181k, Battle Royale Zero Build 199k, Reload 401k, Reload Zero Build 173k. So it seems to be popular, but it is new, hopefully the numbers don't drop too much, I'd really like to see this be a permanent game mode like Team Rumble.
