I'm enjoying the mode but do hope they'll rotate between islands inspired by different chapters in the future. The OG art style is fun and I do wish they'll bring it back in a modernised form for future BR chapters (chapter 3 actually nailed this), but I've seen these POIs so many times before... I'm ready for something new. Justice for C2 and C3!

I guess it's an appeal, on my end, I feel like it's a good thing when I get my stuff wrecked because then, the VR is a bigger goal to strive for, rather than in BR where I'm generally fighting only bots or lower skilled player for half the match before finally squaring up against the strongest in the end. In reload, I'm always fighting strong guys, it keeps me on my toes and gets the adrenaline going, I like it ! Of course, not everyone is like me, some won't enjoy this type of gameplay, and it's fine, after all it's not as if there weren't other gamemodes.

I’ve personally had a blast with it. See I’ve enjoyed this season, and every other season ( besides primal… ewe) lol But, what this mode has is high action fast paced, GUN play. No bots, no getting hit by a random OP ability that you can’t stop. Just raw gameplay. A lot of players have forgotten how that works because players have gotten used to having spider web slingers or Nimbus to run away from the fight across the map when it gets tough. Now you have to face ACTUAL people constantly in this new mode. When I’m feeling sweaty, I can play Reload. When I’m ready to have fun and troll have a slow fun game, I’ll play Battle Royale. One thing we have now… is a choice… and more choices means better gameplay.

@@gaspersnakes Lmao prime wasn’t terrible but it was ewe. Mythic boots you had to jump 3 times to activate. The primal mythic shot gun was eating everything alive😂😂 the best thing about that season was the bows. Best season for me was the Hunting Season when My boy J turned on IO chapter 2 season 5. Battle pass was iight but the gameplay was fun for me that season.

This new mode is literally fantastic. It’s a great game mode for just Fortnite gameplay. It’s a great way to create a sweaty location and make it fun and high pace. Want some Casual gameplay and fun, Battle Royale is the way to go. You can choose what style you want to play and that’s what makes this mode great!

I think this game mode could be perfect for something Fortnite’s never done, a rotating map. Get a bunch of small maps themed around the different chapters but keep the loot pool the same throughout, it could be really cool.

Ok so I'm a Zero Build player, and really I say the 2 things that really bring down the mode for me is the map layout and the only way to really have fun is when you have a full pre made squad, because for ZB, the map is just way to open to actually be a really good map for this type of mode and I think a redesign would be an amazing way to make this mode amazing, and really because it's squads there vchances to get good teammates and bad ones and the only times I have fun with the mode is when I have a full squad already made, which saying as how I mostly play solos because people aren't on all the time, it really shows how this mode really needs the other 3 modes

I think the mode is so good, but unfortunately I can't do anything with it as a solo player. It would definitely need a solo mode where you have up to 3 respawns.

Or something like Resurgence where if you're in the solo mode, you could respawn infinitely, but you can't respawn again for 30 seconds after your last respawn. And if you die in that 30 second timer, you're done for. The limited respawns thing was already done in the Comeback LTM.

I’m honestly loving it. The lobbies are very sweaty and fast paced, but if you play it smart it’s easy to make it to end game.

I like how when you go into build mode it's a sweat-fest (even tho I'm kinda a sweat myself lol) but when you go in zero build there aren't too many sweats and it's pretty chill

Reload is absolutely amazing, it's actually fun (but sweaty)! The map is great and the loot pool is quite diverse! Also some corrections: The loot pool spans over 5 chapters, not 3. (Crash Pad Jrs are from C4S4 alongside the Heisted Exotics which are from C4S1, Shield Bubble Jrs are from C5S2) And speaking of, Shield Bubble Jrs ARE in the mode so you got one of your wishes already granted. Clingers or Cluster Clingers would be cool though.

Reloaded is honestly more fun as while the vehicular combat and projectile bullets is....unique, just having the ability to use hitscan and the only op mobility tool being shockwaves(only able to carry 3-4 and it would be balanced), and especially happy that sources have found coding for Duos and Trios games, however the major issue I have is ratting is seriously encourage to allow players to revive their friends from death. Which isn't as bad if it was 30-40 seconds period, but with ways to quicken the respawn timer, it should be 45-60 seconds in Squads(30-45 for Trios, and 20-30 seconds in Duos).

Wanted to add something about the lootpool: The items in the mode span over all 4 chapters as crash pad jrs and heist exotics are also in the new Reload mode. So I can see this mode getting mayne some small updates to have the map get locations from east chapter whether as thier original form or being combine with another POI.

Awesome video! I agree with most of the pros of Reload, but as someone who has played it, the only flaw of the whole mode is the player base. People try way to hard and it becomes nearly impossible to win just one match because everyone is building the Eiffel Tower for the wind just blowing in the wrong direction. It needs balancing work, and it a whole lot of fun been though I can’t beat these crazy sweaty players.😂

It combines the last half decades of Fortnite and proves to me that nothing needed to be reworked in Chapter 5, Instead something like this mode and OG should've influenced current BR. If it isn't broken don't fix it. I just wish they would look, listen and take notes on the feedback to influence current BR. It's what I was hoping for OG to be instead of something to gain a mass amount of players to get them roped into their metaverse ecosystem. I wish there were still passion instead of greed and them having quantity over quality, the layoffs were a huge toll on the game as well.

Im enjoying having some old pois back ( pleasent was my main landing spot in chapter 1 and 2 and then again for a lot of games in season: OG), the lootpool is also great but its annoying that it's squads only bc i don't have a full sqaud of friends that play the game anymore and i can't really play with randoms bc my headset mic doesn't work on my switch so im solo squadding and I do cook but obviously no respawns whilst fighting an entire squad with essentially endless lives is kinda hard.

It's not fun for me, every single player is a sweat, even in zero build; here people do not play for fun at all, and so i cannot have fun either, it's a terrible game mode for me, becouse i usually like playing casually and not like a robot programmed to win, i don't really even care about winning anyways; plus you get quite smaller amounts of XP from this compared to regular BR; i will stay away from this mode pernamently.

That’s pretty much the entirety of BR. They threw together the gamemode in a few weeks after the popularity of PUBG. Nothing in this game was ever “original”
