2:32 ingots required to retrieve doubles for each retrieval (1st time needs 1 ingot, 2nd needs 2, 3rd needs 4 and so on) this resets for each shop encounter, so if you made it to i.e. 3rd time in a shop, the next shop in that run will reset back as if you were at 1st time extra note for the Investment System: each run will generate a number of ingots you can deposit from 0-?, if that number hits zero, the Investment System will not appear in any shop in that run it's also unavailable while playing in In-Depth Investigation (or Survey Entries) and Monthly Team

So if I understood this right, Integrated strategies is a game mode that costs 0 sanity and where each run is independent from the others. Hope is a currency that you get each run to spend on operators. When you start a run, you're given three class specific vouchers. These can be used to buy your starting operators. Each rarity costs a different amount of hope (6 for 6 stars, 3 for 5 stars, 2 for 4 stars, and 0 for lower). When you buy an operator, it's capped at e1 max (Will be lower if your own operator is lower). Don't worry about only having three e1 operators, you can get more recruitment vouchers throughout the run. When you get a recruitment voucher, you can also choose to e2 one of your e1 operators. This will also cost hope. IS has a variety of nodes that can have battles, shops, events, or more. Each section of nodes will have a boss stage at the end of it. Battles in the gameplay can reward you with vouchers, which I've already discussed. They can also reward you with relics. They're officially called collectables, but that term is dumb so I don't use it. Relics can be collected throughout a run and buff your operators. As a run goes on, you collect more operators and relics to strengthen your roster to keep up with progressively stronger enemies and nodes. Is this correct Mr. Yii?

OK, yeah you get class vouchers at the start, a voucher can be used to recruit an operator at E1 or promote him to e2. you get more vouchers randomly after completing combat maps or buy them in the shop. In IS 1 your squad size and deploy limit were quite low until you get artifacts to increase them you get hope when you level up (thru winning combat) or artifacts, since you probably only get a certain amount of combat you are hard capped on hope.

Pretty much I do want to point out a few difference from first IS and technically new feature that YII probably forgot to mention. [you're given three class specific vouchers] In the new IS you technically can pick which sets of specific class vouchers you get instead of all random, you do still get the option of going all random though(which reward you one ticket that have a guarantee free 4* as a compensation for RNG)

Can't wait for Podenco to be MVP again! Don't sleep on operators that have healing, if you don't get a medic on those early stages they're fantastic. I didn't beat any of the final bosses first time round with fungimist but still had a blast and was super addicted.

Just adding, the random effects can be annoying, such as "lose hp per second and increase atk spd for both allies and enemies" and "Increase Hope required to recruit operator but decrease hope required to e2 them", and you will get rewards for doing the "Monthly team"

So IS2 is a roguelite gamemode that features: A shop with a donation machine from which you can deposit and withdraw from (and depositing unlocks things, and the machine can break), and hallucinations that negatively affect the way you play a floor? I know the comparison has probably been made before, but I play relatively blind to CN, so I don't care. But this is basically The Binding of Isaac but in Arknights?

Ling actually seems a bit overrated in IS. Like she makes the early stages much easier. *But* she doesn't get the same level of cracked brokeness that a lot of other operators get with relics (the " summoner summons get +50% attack" is the biggest one, and that's nothing compared to some of the crazy shit other classes get), which means she's not going to be team MVP by the time you're doing the hard past: the bosses. If anything, I think jumping on the Ling train for IS is a good way to have a lot of frustrating runs that go the distance but fail the boss fight.
