I have just heard about the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. I have not heard if Istanbul was a part of the area hit. Please know i am praying for all persons affected by this and my condolences to the persons who have lost their life and for their families. I hope you and your family are safe. M. I was living on an earthquake proof building built in 2017 and there was a 4.5 Earthquake and there were Cracks in the building.. Even if you live in an earthquake proof building you might survive an 7.8 earthquake but the building would be severely damaged to live in it.

Skyscrapers are safer if built correctly. Just like in Japan. They shake but don’t collapse.
