IMHO RF2 AI are not good, so I am curious how they will behave.

I'm a fan of Rf2, I think this is good because people will be able to experience the closest thing to a wec championship and that's positive. I don't think Rfactor2 will abandon it, Rfactor 2 needs to add more content on tracks and cars and if they add the cars of the wec in rfactor I will drive on tracks that the wec does not participate in. Imagine Racing with the Peugeot for example on road atlanta without needing mods 😊

I thought RF2 was dead a few years ago, but they suddenly seemed to perk up again, be nice to have RF2 as a cheaper option still available?

Rf2 won't be getting any of the WEC content unfortunately as the license dictactes it needs to be in standalone game. May be we might see other content and more updates to Race control not much else might be coming

@@alkallata80 I already own all the rf2 content. I know what's there already. I'm just saying since the WEC is exclusive for the standalone game it won't be coming over to rf2 officially

Never played iRacing but yes, 24hr proper races are planned.....also asynchronous mp car swap...which I don't think iRaving does?? Correct me if I am wrong. EA atm with more features planned and expected soon.

They quote the same engine as RF2, which seems a little surprising TBH (I suspect any further tweaks or improvements might not make it to RF2 ... but I could be wrong).

@@SimUKReviewsIts a bit of an upgrade to the engine. The devs mentioned its 2.5 gmotor engine while RF2 is on 2.0. This is what actually allows them to add bunch of new features and update graphics into new game without have to maintain the old mods in Rf2. I think most changes won't make it into Rf2 becuase of this well. Great video.

It has limited features atm. Save will appear sooner or later, but I think car swapping is a major part of that.

Oh right. Well base game compared to base game I suspect that is going to be a yes, but I don't off hand know what size RF2 base game is? 30Gig I think (if memory serves) I did include minimum and recommended specs in this video

Because for me it's a bit tough to get decent PC I have a ACEMAGICIAN AMR5 RGB Mini Gaming PC, AMD Ryzen 7 5700U (8C/16T, up to 4.3Ghz),16GB DDR4 512GB I'm not sure if it's enough

For me, no VR support means immediate return - reversal. A racing sim 2024 without VR support is totally uninteresting for me .

@spaz2401 why is that a ridiculous reason? If he wants to race in VR and it doesn't have VR then it isn't going to suit him. It is gorgeous looking and sounding so for those of us willing to wait for VR we have no issues, but each to their own right :-)
