All those fortnite sets are Friggin sick! Especially the battlebus and peely bone! Wish the opted in for minifigures in all the sets

While I do think they should have had minifigures included with some of the smaller sets - not just the largest set of the wave - I absolutely agree that this is a surprisingly strong launch with great sets, and also surprisingly not horribly priced. Will definitely be picking up the Battle Bus!

I’m not a Fortnite fan but I got the Durr Burger just cause it’s just silly and I friggin love it. It’s such a good building experience, so affordable, and a really good set all together.

Never played Forntnite or have any interest in it but I like all of these. They look so fun. Fortnite being one of my favourite themes of the year was not on my 2024 bingo card. Plus I could easily see that burger being sold for over £20 so I was shocked by it's actual price

I really like the sets. The durr burger is pretty good for its price. The lamma seems expensive to me, 40€ for the lamma doesn't seem well to me, it seems pretty small too. The peely bone statue is just an incredibly delightful surprise. From the history of lego statues/mechs that I have seen, I wasn't expecting much. But it is so good. The battle bus is just as good as everyone had hoped. So everything seems to be very good, except the lamma maybe. This review comes from a non lego buyer. I look at lego content but I don't buy for various reasons

@@2jhacky11 For Fortnite they have an excuse to because of the various amounts of skins created over the years. Same could be said for Star Wars, but I don't know why there shouldn't be a CMF series instead of exclusive characters in sets or promos. In addition, Lego Fortnite sets would probably be short lived so that's why I was thinking a CMF series would balance out the amount of figures included in other sets.

Big difference I think is having the video game. If there was no Lego Fortnite game, we'd probably only get the Battle Bus, and it'd be 50% more expensive... 😅

The bus is a similar structure/ design to my 2018 Classic School Bus project on Lego Ideas. I was planning to re-launch soon, but now I have to reconsider. Regardless, these sets look great! :)

Honestly the biggest letdown for me is the fact that only one of these sets have figures. Sure, it's great for convenience, but I'd much rather have the other 3 sets have at least 1 figure each to make them more enticing. At least the burger could have benefited from a figure. Regardless, these are some FANTASTIC opening sets for a theme!

I'm a bit dissapointed that the lego fortnite sets need to focus more on the Don't Starve - esc game mode, Instead of the general game or battle royale. But i still love these sets, and will pick up the bus if im financially able, and the llama if im a bit less fortunate

I guess it was inevitable. I tried hard to ignore the existence of Fortnite, but it still showed up in the Lego world. Nope. They had to wait until they could partner with Epic to create sets, which is why we got Lego Fortnite gamemode as well. We don't really know how long they've been trying to partner for, could have been a ton of things to work out. Plus sets take time to design, test, review, etc.

Wow, this is certainlty an opinion. suprise... its super mid. People have been wanting Lego fortnite with years, and all they do is drop 4 random sets. Only 1 set at a cheap price point and all the minifigures are locked behind the $100 battle bus. They didn't bother with the detailed minifigure design like in the lego fortnite mode as only Jonsey gets arm printing. And wow a 15 dollar durr burger. What is a kid gonna do with that, its the only affordable set for a kid. A minifigure line would be easy and amazingly well received. The fact that you say this is a great line for every age range is a LOL moment. If they make more Lego fortnite we can only hope they drop actual minifigures with most of the sets? Is that asking much? lol
