Thank you so much for giving us a glimpse of this gorgeous game, Lae! Even though all the elements of this game are nothing new, it's nice to see them explored in a way that doesn't remind me of anything else on the market, while still letting players retain their own sense of agency without a strict bedtime/stamina gauge/etc. I'm not totally convinced yet, but I def wanna keep my eye on this for now 👀

I'm a bit further in. I love the game. It's great that it encourages exploration and mistake-making, as they don't come with harsh penalties. Yes, the cauldron was hard to get, but satisfying when done also. If there's any non spoiler hints I can give, it's that you may have tasks that you really can't finish...yet. So focus on the easier tasks you can finish first, and they may unlock other areas of the game. There are additional game mechanics that kick in later, one of which was an absolute squee moment when I first saw it. You'll know it when you get there.

Yes figuring out how to progress the story was something i struggled with too. Idk if it helps but i try to focus on any quests that have the ( ! )Active symbol next to it as it seems these are the ones central to the storyline (different from when you activate it to put in your side tab)

Been playing it for 3 days straight and the getting around doesn’t feel tedious bc of platforming. Later teleport points are unlocked just like any other metroidvania. It’s nice :)

I’m torn on if I want to buy on pc or on my switch. Do you think there’s a lot going on the screen?

It's recommended to use a controller (and I used an Xbox controller to play this on my PC) so I definitely think it would do well on the Switch in terms of the controls. Visually they do have that options of pinning orders and recipes to the side, I can see that getting cluttered on the Switch screen but overall I think it's pretty simple.

How do I cook under the moon?!? I start cooking at night, but the moonlight ingredient never gets a green check? Please help... I've Googled to no avail.

When you finish the dish it will still show it was cooked at night. I play it on the switch the moonlight didn’t get a tick. I still cooked it and it got accepted in the quest. So maybe just still go with it? It must be a bug tbh.
