It would be a shame if Alex doesn't come back in SF6, the new theme of street matches would fit Alex perfectly, and come on, 6 it's canonically after the 3, so not only Alex but more characters from SF3 would be great to return as well.

Drive rush and drive impact are basically the Focus Attack mechanics from street fighter 4 just split into two options.

Yep! That's what it felt like to me, but the change in frame data from a button during drive rush makes it unique in making impossible combos into possible combos. Drive impact is a commitment instead of like in 4 where you could back dash, forward dash, or FADC a move. Those little difference I think are healthy for the game and make SF6 stand out

I wonder if we'll see people get stunned often in 6 at a pro level. It felt like it was hard to run out of drive meter when I played at EVO. I'm 90% sure there will probably be a character in the game that is designed to steal or deplete your drive meter.

I played the EVO build and I can tell you that it doesn't play like 5 at all. Some similarities, but there is NO comeback mechanic where you get touched once and die like with V-Trigger, game has great defensive mechanics on release, and has ways to let you play any character the way you want, unlike SF5. So keep your eyes out for it, you may like it!
