Lukas, I LOVE your channel. I'm a huge Studio1 fan but haven't yet used sound variations, mainly because I'm too lazy to create them myself. I would just LOVE for orchestral tools to get all their stuff implemented as I'm using a lot of the Berlin series and JXL. Thanks for yet another helpful video!

OMG!! I have version 4 and for the life of me couldn't figure out how to do Articulations without the whole track changing to what ever key switch I clicked. I'd tried Recording the key switches while playing back... that didn't work. I attempted with my really poor piano skills to do it real time left hand key switching while right hand played. Tried Multi instruments to use one vers for key switching and play the melody with the other instrument. And here You are with "Just DRAW" THE KEY SWITCH." Sheesh I wish someone had clued me in sooner. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

great video. I must say content of your channel is very helpful. I recently switched from cakewalk to studio one, just because of efficiency and generally more dynamically adaptive functional system. judging by content of your videos you are accomplished pianist and musician. I love those screen shots of your kontakt with variety of librarys that can be inspiring to explore.because of that I had a look at Chris Hein compact strings, and I'm so satisfied that l bought them, assigning sound variation was a straight forward procedura;) just because of your tutorial. your Orch template tool is great. it seems like I wrote a lot::). I'm looking forward for More content, related to studio one, especially incorporating using macros in your work flow, and any other useful tips:) best regards

How to get Remote App to line up with Studio One Activation Sequence? Example using VSL Big Bang Orches -Andromeda & I tried is Short works fine, but Long on Remote IPAD instead of Long Normal selects Activation Sequence for Long Espressivo, and want to customize what Articulation Types buttons on Remote side -How is that done?

Somehow, I have broken my link. VSL Synchron Key Switches are not longer auto-populating my Sound Variations Editor. They used to. Now they don't. Any idea of how to fix this? It's just blank. Similarly there are no longer any VSL SR's showing up in the Sound Variation locations in the Editor. HELP!

This is only for Spitfire Audio Kontakt libraries.

Is it possible to copy / duplicate a sound variation sequence of 8 bars violin 1 (where I wrote the note articulations) to violin 2 without reproducing it manually? if so, how?

Sure, just select them, copy them and paste them on the other track. Just make sure that the other track has the same sound variation map loaded. You can also use Paste at Original Position: kzbin.info/www/bejne/en6zgJmXetSbgZY
