My entire tree is covered with tatoos, specially because they help a lot with stat fixing, since my build just needs all the suffixs on gear it can get. Stuff like max life leech, recovery rate, projectiles. In my opinion it feels like cluster jewels again, so much customization and power comes from the tatoos.

really hope this goes core. it adds a nice way to make travel nodes not feel bad pushing the standard passive tree closer to the feeling of the atlas tree.

Oh yea, tattoos are the best thing we got since recombinators. The mechanic too is actually making me play better as a sort of training ground as well. This league is now in my top three favorite.

Tattoos look like something that can be added to the core game after this league. It's not just a blatant power creep like a new gear slot for a sanctified relic or a skill tree on your weapon. These have similar effects to timeless jewels or cluster jewels where you just spend your passive points on something different than before. And you have very large agency over this, i'm actually surprised because most POE mechanics that came out recently are gambling on top of gambling on top of gambling.

Tattoo is one of those mechanics where you just KNOW it's here to go core. I can't wait until Steel, Ziz, Subtractum,Tuna,Aero. Ghaz, Cat,Cpt.Lance, Mathil, all my guys are making builds so dialed that they have these in the guides.

@@lunasllenas1997 I feel like this is what PoE1 IS for. All the detailed, eye brow painting you could ever want. While PoE2 will focus on game "feel" and physical mechanics will be the highlight. When you look st the change through PoE1 and PoE2 trajectories. I think you will agree then. 👍

i am using about 200% increased flask effect duration for a soulthirst mf'ing build. 2 addional proj, one doubled by warriors tale. i have 11 projectiles for ts without lmp/gmp and 50 seconds soul eater. Attributes fixed with elegant hubris + addional rarity notables and tattoos. LOGIN

Alternative way to lose a battle Start the battle and go to character select Depending on your loading speed, that may be better for you than removing everything and then lose. Then for tattoos, +4 all attribute is the best for when you can't get enough stats for the other two. For me, I'm using LA Deadeye and don't have much gear so I rely on the +4 attribute on my dex nodes to cover the str and int issues while I slowly build them. I got the 100% increase effectiveness of tattoos that Ziz shown on the video earlier so I'll probably move it above the ranger starting area since that's covers a lot of dex node that I can convert to +4 all attribute.

You can also just exit to char select to auto lose. 3 loading screens but less effort than unspeccing all totems

As a new player this never made any sense to me. You dont want to spawn a portal for me at the end of maps? so i use my portal scrolls? which I maybe threw out for a div card? Ok, if you want everyone to relog every 5 minutes and put strain on the servers, be my guest

I'm using eldrich battery as a witch, so INT is a dead stat for me. I have over +30 to all ele res and it enables me to use a couple uniques I wouldn't be able to. Love the tats!

I got like 128% ele res for free on my necro so gearing is super easy now thanks to the 3% ele res tattoo. It's like 2c each so it was cheap as well.

The one problem with tattoos is that it's a lot of currency invested into not a build but a character, so if you want to reroll, you'll either be stuck scouring tattoos that might be very valuable, be forced into going for a similar build, or need to make a new character.

@@leandervandegriend2347 Elegant hubris timeless jewel with "Commissioned # coins to commemorate Caspiro" mod turns nearby keystone passives to Supreme Ostentation, "Ignore Attribute Requirements Gain no inherent bonuses from Attributes" So basically no life+melee phys from str, no mana+es from int and no accuracy+evasion from dex, but you don't need to have any for equipment or gems, which is very good for this league since you want to stack as many tattoos as you can.

I wish I could use more tattoos in my build but I'm playing STR stacker and every single stat node except 2 dex nodes is either STR or converted to STR with jewel so I guess 10% chance to blind enemies on hit is all I get, even that is still huge because I'm attacking so fast I blind everything that doesn't die in a split second. I plan on going wardloop for my second build tho and I'm gonna absolutely abuse the 4% global defences tattos

I've been playing a few years now and still haven't reached goals I set when I started. It never gets easier you just learn more and more until you're finally good.
