Can you give us some details on the drill bit and the “coring tool”?

We used a bigger bit but I think it would have been better to have used a 1/2 inch bit and drill all the way around the outside and pull it out. Also there is a baffle below it so dont drill through that. You will notice when you get through the cat material as when to stop drilling.

I talked to John and he said the KRX will beat the Talon on a drag with the KRX tune remapped and exhaust. BTW I live near you guys off in AA MI. Grew up in Grand Blanc area near Porter rd. Still waiting to pull the trigger on my KRX - sadly...

Have you had any backfiring issues since deleting the CAT? Ive removed mine also and now it backfires after long deceleration and I get back on the gas. VFJ says this is typical of all modified stock exhaust he has seen. Just curious if you had the same issue with his tune.

Yep we get some pooping while decelerating. We also see it in our other machines that we tune. Your all good! Enjoy your KRX! We love them!!

Well honestly... when they release a turbo model we will be going strictly Kawasaki. X3 has been fun but a properly HP’d KRX will kill an X3

Does Vforce John recommend running that without an exhaust on a newly flashed ECU? 😂 The stuff on the spark arrester was the crap from your drilling out the cat. Had to go somewhere right?

It was like the packing in the Trinity exhaust. Definitely not Cat material. And I’m sure he doesn’t but we wanted to hear it and share it with our subscribers. If it blows then we have more video on engine rebuilding right!!!

You could and it would help with some of the heat. It should pick up a bit of power but the ECU is limited by the stock tune.

John V force is a smart ass .....you say him one thing .. Can this tune hurt your motor down the road and WOW!!! He starts going off the deep end on you are one of them guys that been told that i will blow up your motor and that you don't need my help you need to go to the one's that has put all this crap in your head about me.. Then he gose on and on about people like me .. I don't know why he went off on me the way he did .....over asking a question.......but that was just crazy......he was QZing me of talking to some people that i don't have NO ideal who in the hell they are ... But i did not Appreciate being Accused of something that i have know ideal about ... This was Very rude to talk to anyone the way he was to me ......just because i ask one little Question he gose off on a man what is wrong with this man he has some bad Issues going on with him self to just go off on a man for just asking Questions ant that the reason you get in touch with him because you don't know the answers.......well he has gotten some big problems.....were dose this guy get off on putting words in a man's mouth....... then tell a man that he knows all i was trying to do was put his work down and talk bad about him .....wow!! And all i did was ask this man if this tuning flash will hurt my motor down the road then he gose off and tells me he has heard about people like me and he dose not have to deal with me .. What in the hell is this John V force talking about ... This man has got some big problems going on with him .......he sounds like he has some big Menu problems like massed up in the head . I really thought these needed the back pressure, I would love to see a dyno before and after a car delete before I go just cutting on my car. I also sorta wish you did a review prior to removing the cat to get a real feel for the tune, then a review after to then determine if cat removal was worth it

You are 100% correct which is why we are still running the stock muffler. Opens it up a bit but still holds back a bit. Rumor is, a guys working on the cam timing to help perk it up. Its a bit lazy on cam timing from the factory.

I installed 35 inch tires, the programmer and the clutch mod on my 2021 before the first ride. After 27 hours on the Hobbs and 350 miles total, the transmission is howling in an inane and unbearably noisy fashion. The mods will undoubtedly void my warranty and leave me footing the bill on a very expensive transmission repair. What disgusts me most is that my machine has not been abused or mistreated in any way. The KRX is not robust enough to take any mods let alone turbo charging or forced induction of any kind. If it was we would have a flood of them from the after market by now. If I had it to do over I would look at a different brand.

I’m really sorry to hear that. Put the stock stuff back on and there should be no issues. Kawasaki is really good about taking care of people. Seems like you either get a great one or one with issues
