I'll be 80 in a few weeks but nowhere near ready to hand over my cleaning jobs just yet. I too have been using Vileda products for years and have never had one fail me yet. The EasyWring Spin Mop is much easier on my ageing back and shoulders than other types of floor mops and delivers just the right amount of water to do a really good job. I love it! @@jmdds The idea of spinning is to dry the mop. It’s was never about clean or dirty water compartment. It’s no diff from the traditional mop bucket where u dip the mop in the water the press down to wring it dry. If u want those clean and dirty compartment type mop system, it is available too.

Amazing mop. There have been zero problems with the mop. People in comments saying it flips over and the spring on the pedal breaks but for me it doesn't have those issues. The mop never flips and if the spring was breaking I wouldve noticed it.

Perhaps you use it only on slippy floors? On floors that aren't slippy it constantly tries to flip over, and the plastic backing scrapes the floor

First time using it, and it did scrape the floor a bit I thought I did something wrong.

I find that the mop head dives all the time (it tries to flip over) causing the plastic backing to scrape on the floor. And the bucket handle is not hinged far enough forward, so when you carry the bucket with water in it, it angles downward toward the front quite a bit

@@ViledaCanada maybe 3 or 4 string pumps on the pedal. But I can confirm that the strings get caught in the gaps between my antique hardwood floors, and on the carpet when mopping my floors where they meet carpeted areas.

I’ve had the same frustrating problem with the mop flipping and dragging. It’s been dry enough and still flips. As someone with severe back stenosis and pain, it seems that it should work better. Any hints????

In the washing machine do we use detergent? What setting?? Cold water or what temperature And do you recommend to tumble dry or air dry

Our microfibre refills are machine washable with detergent . You may also hand wash them in warm water. Please note that we do not recommend using bleach or fabric softener. Once washed, lay flat or hang to dry.

The nub part at the bottom of the mop, that allows it to sit into the spinner, is constantly scratching into whatever surface i try to mop. It's annoying to have to CONSTANTLY stop and move the microfiber strands over it to stop it.

Not bad. Got one today and did the house. The flip is annoying but can be avoided if you spin the head as you place it down - this will spread out the threads in a circle. My main complaint is that the handle is too short. Mop handles need to come up to the chin.

I own a float center. I have 2 rooms that need floor moping several times a day. I used this product and it is the best. BUT only for a little while (1 month max). Why? Because the spinning system/mechanism breaks down after that. The mop works brilliantly when new and when the mechanism is working properly, both for moping and then drying afterwards (meaning you can easily drench the water out of the mop with the spin). But, I am now on my 4th Vileda Turbo and every single one of them (some sooner, some later) break down and become just a mop and a bucket. The pedal sratrs to push/fall through to the floor without it spinning the part which is supposed to spin. It's not me. The first one I had was working properly for about a year. The second one (around lockdown, and covid times) was working for about 4-5 months. The 3rd for about 2 months, and my current one for 1 month. oh, and btw, the price skyrocketed. It used to be around 30 punds/40 dollars. Now it's around 50 punds/ 65 dollars (here in Croatia here I'm from). I love the product when it's working. But it becomes utter rubbish quite quickly. Shame.

This product has so many design issues with it. The spin function does not fry the mop sufficiently and sprays water droplets everywhere, the mop doesn’t clip easily to the head as shown in video as the micro fibres are I the way on tongue and groove etc etc. It is inconceivable that vileda have marketed this product without being aware of these very basic and obvious issues. Absolute rip off. I came here to see if I was using it correctly and was. Design over function.

Hi Dia, it is completely safe to put the microfiber head in the washing machine, but only the white mop refill head. Not the red triangular piece. Soaking the mop refill in chlorine may deteriorate the microfiber faster and thus, reducing its cleaning efficiencies.
